Are we better off trading Bourne and see whether Thornton can discover his mojo with maye .

We have Henry and hooper and Douglas . What additional benefits will Bourne provide over these 3 to Maye as far as safety valve. Boutte is also showing some pluck .

I would much rather trade Bourne for a 4th or 5th rounder to chiefs than release Thornton and not even have an opportunity to test him out with a QB who can throw deep .

This is why Maye needs to play. We need to know what our receiver corps looks like with him throwing. It would be nice to get a handle on that before anyone's dealt away.

There are several WR needy teams that need a #5 WR and might possibly be willing to give a 7th.

I mean, he seems to just suck as an NFL player so it's no real loss. If they're planning to move to Maye at some point soon though I think it does make sense to at least give him a chance to play with Maye. His only positive trait is straight line speed yet they've never paired him with a QB who can throw deep. Maye would be the first he's played with here.

Again, Thornton seems to not be any good but it's not like he'd return any value to miss out on, no one else in their WR room has any real deep speed, and it's not like they have such a deep roster that they couldn't find anyone else to cut. I'd give him a shot to play with Maye, even if just so Maye can have a speed guy to throw to and work on that part of the route tree.

They Ain't getting crap for Him now he was Benched another great WR pick by GM BB. They're going have to just release him but he was picked before a superior player George Pickens bravo BB.

IF they are giving up on him already they're probably not happy about his release that's where WR's win on the Route. That's where Thornton struggles Teams can Jam him and take him completely out of the play.
