Apparently the Pats are in need of a bag of footballs, Tyquan Thornton is available for trade

He does well in camp when he gets balls thrown his way. How many targets has he had where the ball actually gets to him during live games?

When we threw a few long passes to him a few games ago he actually drew a PI.

Perhaps we should create a new category to track his true value to the team. Rather than be looking at just receptions per game we can start tracking his pass-interference drawn calls per game (PID’s). If you will…

It makes to much sense to do that. Mayo seemed non committal on Brissett this morning on his interview WEEI. I think we see Drake. At this point the season is over.. let Maye day play and see what he can do. I fully expect him to do much better than bow and arrow

Getting 7th from Carolina is not bad because it will be close to the Top of the Round. We have really turned some high draft picks into great value.

Wozzy the OL is what it is.. I would day they rose up to mediocre yesterday from practice squad. It's Amazing how bad the #2 picks looks with his rebuilding team... at 4-1 they probably won't win thier own division geesh...

1) We don't need 7 WR's. With Bourne back, Thornton will be inactive. We are fine with Bourne, Douglas, Polk and Boutte.

2) We need a roster spot for Taki, for Strange and for Hudson,

3) Perhaps, we can keep Thornton until the trade deadline if we can do without the roster spot, but he isn't going to be considered for our future.

Are we better off trading Bourne and see whether Thornton can discover his mojo with maye .

We have Henry and hooper and Douglas . What additional benefits will Bourne provide over these 3 to Maye as far as safety valve. Boutte is also showing some pluck .

I would much rather trade Bourne for a 4th or 5th rounder to chiefs than release Thornton and not even have an opportunity to test him out with a QB who can throw deep .
