I like Carson and Rudi is ok i guess but i am just tired of this team.

their coach is annoying and has bad judgement. He also doesn't have much control over the team at all. I saw a clip of him talking to his players after a win and they just rush him and start yelling obnoxious crap and when it clears he's nowhere to be found.

That "who dey" crap is so old its not even funny. (i was a lot of nfl network, maybe thats why)

Their receivers are obnoxious. Chad Johnson is ok but getting more and more annoying by the day.... Chris Henry is a degenerate criminal. And along with CJ, TJ Housh predicts them to make it to the superbowl too. It sounds like they pretty much guarantee it the way CJ and TJ talk.

Their players are scumbags and are hurting this team........ Odell, Ahmad, henry, who else????

this team is going down the ****ter. Baltimore will be much better, Cleveland will be much much better. Pitt might fall a bit or might not. I don't see how this team can play as well as they did last year. If they win more than 10 games i will be AMAZED. At best i think they will go 9-7 maybe.

Does anyone agree? Disagree??

what do you think?

um every team says they are going to win to SB..every player says it or think its while they dream it. its motivation..and confidence. CJ talks..but he can back it up..hes amusing to watch and im fine with him saying whatever he feels as long as he can walk the talk unlike Freddie Mitchell. Who Dey..thats their phrase..let it be..its fine. it was annoying telling people look at 3 rings or get 3 rings before ut alk..Who Dey is what they use..nothing wrong.

Scumbags..yes..they have plenty if team rather go for talent .. let them. not everyone is like BB where we take class guys and develope them into great athletes. They have a very good team both sides of ball. Rudi is a consistent strong back .. CJ can talk but since he gets the stats and is a top WR..all good. Carson is coming off an injury but had a great season..broke out. their OL is good. Defense..their secondary is good..O'Neal, James and Joseph aswell as Ratliff are contributers at corner..Madieu played hurt but will braekout sometime soon as a FS. Cant say other teams will be much better. I know its hard to understand why they take chances and fail..thats how they run it..talent gets their eye..they try to make you into a better person..they cant and u thats how it goes.

im against what Bengals have done but not against anyone but Henry, Odell, Brooks and Nicholson and Rucker but they are all young..may learn if they try because thats whats best for them. and its unfair to say he cant control the team. if Marvin isnt controlling it .. how did they get into post season? Without control from a coach. a team is nothing. Their GM said they supported their decisions..its not up to us to be mad.

Can't say that I am - probably because we haven't played them. I like some of their guys - Palmer, TJ, Pollack.

I don't like some of their guys - Chad Johnson who pulled something last year in the playoffs that TO never did and didn't get called on it, the criminal crew, etc.

If they were in our division it would probably be different. Since they are in the Steelers division, I usually hope they do well.

disagree here. few players yak aobut how they will be going to the superbowl this year. Some may say it is a goal, some may say they will be disappointed if they don't, but few except the obnoxious publicly state that they will be in the superbowl beforehand.

myself honestly not - i have some simpathy for the Cincinnati Bengals and i wish them to arrive to play the Afc Championship @ 'The Razor'

i like Carson Palmer and also if he talks too much i like also Chad Johnson (a great WR imo)

agreed, every team thinks they are going win the suberbowl. Only a few big mouthed players come out and say it.

I'm not sure I like too many players on their team, but I actually like the Bengals as a club. I think they're a very good team. They played us tough two years ago, and have a chance to beat out the Steelers again this year. That Steelers division is getting TOUGH. Fine with me.

By the way, Pittsburgh is going to win 10 games MAX this year.

Actually, I hardly ever think of the Bengals.

If they are yakking about the Super Bowl it is a sign of immaturity.

You don't see us yakking about it til it's time to get on that plane.

you know, i dont disliike them anywhere near a lot of other non-divisional teams (indy, bears, packers, denver)

i think i watch too much nfl network.

maybe i caught "bengals week" or something.

I do know that i saw the "who dey" crap for like the 8th straight days a little bit ago so i guess i just had to vent.

I must say, you take a lot of crap here but I, for one, appreciate any football related posts during this slow time.

I don't have all the media available some do, so I'm not aware of the media bluster about certain teams.

I can't wait until we play them in week 4 of this upcoming season.Has anyone seen the Bengals horrendous schedule?Their 1st game is on the road @ Arrowhead A.K.A. House of Hell. Then they''ll travel to Pittsburgh in week 3,host us in week 4,travel to Tampa in week 5,host Carolina and Atlanta in weeks 6 and 7 before their bye week. We''ll know Baltimore will be a tough test for the bengals on both meetings. Then their last 3 games will be 1 of the most difficult 3 game stretches of next season.Their last 3 games will be @ Indy, @ Denver, then they''ll host Pittsburgh for their final game of the regular season [OUCH!].

All I know is that half the team is one parole violation from starring in "The Longest Yard II"

Yeah NFL Network is something you should look into. I think it's excellent. I watch it pretty much 2 or 3 hours a day at least, every day cuz regular tv is horrible.

Yeah, its so boring now in the nfl we should be talking about anything. Thats why i don't get it when people whine on here about diff. topics but i can understand that everyone has their opinion and whatnot so oh well...

what the network does is have normal shows about the whole league, but focus on certain teams each week for their replay shows. So this week is the Ravens week and they are showing tons of ray lewis stuff......

So yeah, unless its some ridiculous amount of money (i dont know i live with a roomate and dont pay cable, yeah its a sweet deal), you should definitely get it if you like ALL football... and not just pats football.

I am. Marvin Lewis is running a scum-filled program similar to that of his mentor, Brian Billick. A pox on both their houses, I say. And on Miami's, Indy's, Oakland's, and Denver's.

A timeline as to the Bengals off-season:

http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060716/SPT02/607160390/1066/SPT

Jan. 8 - Bengals lose wild-card playoff game to Steelers. Quarterback Carson Palmer suffers torn ligaments in his left knee on first pass play, and wide receiver Chris Henry sprains his knee.
Jan. 9 - Word surfaces on pro football Web site that Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson has physical altercation with coaches at halftime of Steelers game.
Jan. 10 - Palmer undergoes major reconstructive knee surgery in Houston.
Jan. 11 -- Palmer's surgeon, Dr. Lonnie Paulos, tells Associated Press that Palmer's injury was potentially career-ending but later that night backtracks on his comments.
Jan. 15 - Coach Marvin Lewis, in an interview with The Enquirer, apologizes to fans for a "dark cloud (that) has tried to drop on our franchise" and encourages them to be excited about the future.
Jan. 28 - Police in Orlando, Fla., arrest Henry and charge him with possession of a concealed firearm, improper exhibition of a firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm.
March 13 - Strong safety Dexter Jackson signs with Bengals, who later will add defensive tackle Sam Adams as a key acquisition.
April 29 - Bengals select defensive end Frostee Rucker from Southern Cal in third round of NFL draft. Rucker has history of sexual misconduct charges.
April 30 - In the fifth round, the Bengals take Florida State linebacker A.J. Nicholson, whose stock dropped after he was dismissed before the Orange Bowl for alleged sexual misconduct in his hotel room.
June 3 - An Ohio Highway Patrol officer arrests Henry for DUI in Union Township, Clermont County. Nicholson surrenders to police in Tallahassee, Fla., where he is charged with burglary and grand theft (both felonies) and vandalism (a misdemeanor) for allegedly breaking into the apartment of a former Florida State teammate and stealing $1,700 in electronics.
June 14 - Henry turns himself into police in Covington and is arrested for providing alcohol to three under-aged females. It is his third arrest in less than seven months.
June 15 - Lewis declares Palmer two months ahead of schedule in rehab after the quarterback participates in 11-on-11 team drills in full-squad minicamp.
June 21 - Los Angeles City attorney's office charges Rucker with two counts of vandalism and two counts of spousal battery, stemming from an August 2005 incident with a now ex-girlfriend.
July 13 - The Enquirer reports Bengals linebacker Odell Thurman will be suspended for the first four games of the 2006 season for a second violation of the NFL's substance abuse policy. Also, the Bengals select former University of Virginia linebacker Ahmad Brooks in the third round of the league's supplemental draft. He had been dismissed from the UVA team in March for repeated violations of the team's substance abuse policy. The Bengals sacrifice a third-round pick in the 2007 draft to take Brooks.

I'm a Steelers fan and I really don't care about the Bengals all that much. I still kind of feel sorry for their fans. They deserve more than what Mike Brown's given them over the years.

They have a couple of idiots on the team, but so does every other team in the league. They purposely took some chances on poor character guys and are paying the price now, but it doesn't really make me hate them.

Given the strength of the AFC North and the fact the division plays the AFC West and NFC South this year, I don't necessarily disagree that the Steelers may win only 10 games. However 10 wins could very easily win the AFC North this year.

Cincy's stuck with a first place schedule and I have a hard time seeing them getting to 10 wins even with Palmer playing the entire season. Baltimore's improved, but their fate rests on McNair's health and the play of the OL. Cleveland is better, but they're still Cleveland.

I agree 100%. They talk way too much smack for having done nothing.
