Sorry. You meant to say "never." We will NEVER hear the end of how the Pats were one turnover-on-downs away from being 19-0. The media will talk about this forever. Every time a team gets close to perfection, the Pats will be brought up-- because the Pats were the closest of anyone to doing something only the 72 Dolphins did. This is like winning the Powerball and losing the ticket. The Pats players will never get over this until they die. It will haunt them their entire lives. That's a great story for the media! Why should they stop talking about a story like that? It's very dramatic, a story of being so very close to historic greatness, but missing out just barely.

I won't be watching sports TV or reading any of my sports mags for a while. I thought loosing the AFC Championship game last year was the worst. I was SO wrong.
