According to the NFL Transactions Report, he was just released by the Chiefs. I know I liked what I saw of him in preseason action a couple years back.

Obviously I don't know if he necessarily would be ready to take anybody on the 53 man's spot but surely a practice squad spot could be available...

Or was I the only one who liked him?

I liked him too, but released by the pathetic Chiefs indicates he's not shown he's NFL material to anyone.

Well, BB seemed to get something out of him and he was fairly solid on special teams for the Cowboys...aaaaaand by all accounts, the Chiefs might have released him because of their offensive line suckitude, not necessarily vis a vis Rogers' play.

All speculation of course but I did note Barry Richardson's activation from PUP right under it.

I'm pretty sure he's out of PS eligibility after being a ST player for the Cowboys his rookie season.

No. I wish the Pats had kept Rogers instead of Chad ******* Brown.

no. the answer is no.

Ah, right, forgot about the PS rule. Crap.

Maybe with the reports about AD (ignoring salary cap constraints) being a healthy scratch due to performance, maybe he'd be the odd man out!

Thomas' $7M in dead money if he gets cut/traded says hi.

No. I liked him and thought that the position given to the vet who had nothing left was a mistake. And it proved to be the case.

Yeah, just like that dud Brandon McGowan proved after he kept getting cut too.

Are you saying that Rogers was playing LB okay, but the Chiefs cut him because the Oline sucked?

How does cutting an effective defensive player make the Oline better

No, I'm saying their offensive line needs relegated a decent special teamer with upside to being cut.
