Mods,
Not sure where to post this, but I was hoping to download some of last years college games to get a better sense of some of our new draft picks. Any websites that have game torrents to download.

TYT

This site is pretty good. Just register for the forum and you're all set.

I think there used to be a tenyardtorrents, haven't checked it recently, though.

to whoever asked and responded to the question thanks so much! Truth to the saying there is no such thing as a dumb question (bc ive had the same question for years and just assumned no such site existed) anways 2 thumbs up!!!!

This is a good question as I think the NFL would make a ton of money if they set something up where fans can purchase and download games from the past.

They should consult with the MLB about this. MLBTV costs a hundred bucks a year, and you get every single game live, and you can also purchase classic games from the itunes library.

Just an FYI, if you go to secdigitalnetwork.com they have quite a few games there as well.
As far as TYT goes, I cannot figure out how to download games on there. Do you have to buy credits or something. not very computer savvy.

As far as old Patriots footage goes (which was what I initially thought this thread was gonna be about), there's almost the continuous history between 1994-2009 on Hulu. It starts with the fist year they were good with Parcells & Bledsoe (the year they lost to Belichick's Browns in Cleveland in the Wild Card round).
On You Tube, there's a complete game from Foxboro vs. The Los Angeles Rams from 1980. That's really the era I was looking for. I grew up on the late 70's Pats with Steve Grogan, Sam Bam Cunningham, Stanley Moragan, Russ Frances, Hog Hannah, Steve Nelson, Tim Fox, Raymond Claybourn, Sam Adams, Mosi Tatupu, Harold Jackson, Sugar Bear Hamilton, Andy Johnson, John Smith, Tony Franklin, Vegas Furgeson, Doctor Bill Lenkitus, and the rest.
I wish they'd bring back THOSE throwbacks. The 1974-1982 unis. Especially the away ones with the red pants & white jerseys worn between 1979-1982. Back when the stripes were down on the SLEEVES, not up on the shoulders like The Colts have.
Also, as for old AFL Pats footage, almost all of it is from 1966-1969. There's almost none with the original unis & helmet, or the 1961-1964 helmet, before they added the blue middle stripe in between the two reds in 1965.
If anyone knows where to find any 1982 & older Pats footage, please let me know.

I haven't been on there in a couple years, but I believe you first need to register with the site, just like you have to register here to make posts.
once you do that you'll have access to the message boards, which are about like this place, the difference being they post torrent trackers.

if you don't know what torrents are, d/l and install utorrent --- it's a torrent client.
you might also d/l and install peerguardian2, if you want, and run it whenever you d/l torrents.

the whole deal with torrents are that they have a million sites which list these little tracker files -- the tracker files enable you to find other online users who have the actual file, and you d/l direct from them.
as you do this, they also d/l direct from you.

this is all somewhat illegal, and you may get threatening letters from your isp, hence the peerguardian2, which supposedly helps screen you a bit.
although, I doubt anybody's gonna bust you for old nfl games.

so, after all is installed, find a site like the aforementioned one and click a torrent tracker link, choosing 'open' --- it will then automatically launch utorrent and d/l your stuff.

you can pm me, or post further if you need more help.
