the best place would probably be at the home of another expat in SQ. otherwise, i'd check with the concierges of hotels with US parents or that attract a lot of US businesspersons or tourists: the Ritz, Raffles, Oriental, the Shang. i can't imagine that you are the only person asking this question this week. also, the American Embassy has, I am sure, sponsored parties about sillier things so you might give them a call as well.
