Fitzgerald can and will opt out of his contract after this season (It had some langauge in it that if the Cards suck (and they do) he could opt out of the contract. So you won't have to trade for him, because he will be a free agent.
Any comparisons between Fitzgerald and Moss, stop and end with hands, other than that, they are completely different receivers. Fitzgerald is not the strictly 9 route guy, that Moss is.
Now how much the salary cap is going to be next year, and how much Fitzgerald is going to want are goiing to be huge factors. But put me down for a "yes" vote, if he could be had, he would be an outstanding receiver in the Pats offense.
