I can't believe that anyone who has followed this team for more than a few months still thinks there is a tiny chance AB could be back.

This might the most absurd thing I have ever read here.

Seems like you’ve never read my posts then... that hurts.

Yeah really. After that zinger at Kraft there is no way he’s coming back here even if he wants to.

One more page to 500, keep it up! LFG!

Judging by your 8 consecutive posts, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that this is a pretty obvious job of trolling. The team just refused to pay him a total of 9m (guaranteed) dollars and is hunkering down for a battle of the contract language. Neither side is going to be open to your suggestion.

I am in UK and when I am reading this stuff in the morning here and going through all these pages of posts and replying to different posts, most of the users on the board are asleep.

I wasn't trolling. I do think he can return. And I have made it clear that I'd love to see him return.

This guy may not even play until 2020, as we’re headed into week four and I’m expecting another several weeks before the NFL completes its investigation.

Several weeks, yes. Rest of year, no.

You'll read a lot more absurd stuff when AB DOES return!! You ain't seen nuthin yet.

To me, those chances died as soon as he brought up Kraft's arrest.

I'm just here to see if we can get to 500 pages

What do you consider more significant -- 500 pages or 10,000 posts? I'd go with 10,000 posts. Oh yeah, Antonio Brown. #9,976

Well, it's 20 per page, so the last post on the 500th page will be the 10000th.

All I know is that I have my excuse in if we don’t make it to the super Bowl, if that I will still have an excuse for not getting to 19-0.

I can't believe we are still discussing. But again, I saw lot of crazy posts/topics on this board that I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Either that or a dangerous obsession.

BB and Brady wanted to keep AB on the team; Kraft didn’t. Pretty simple. It’s obvious. End of story.

After giving Kraft 9 Superbowl visits and 6 championships, you'd think he'd cut them some slack.

Curran basically says Kraft forced the issue:
Which brings us to Bill Belichick. I reported last Friday evening that the decision to release Brown was unanimous, that the threatening texts were a “bridge too far.” After more conversations this week, I’ve come to understand that unanimous decision wasn’t easily reached. Belichick accepted the decision and understood it. But he was by no means leading the charge to move on — and if Kraft hadn’t insisted, Brown would probably still be here.

Which, one can logically conclude, is why Brown made sure to show appreciation for Belichick in social media posts after his release while sending drone strikes at Kraft on Sunday morning.

Why, when asked, “What was the last straw?” did Belichick not at least mumble something to Dana Jacobson about the decision being what was best for the football team? Because he isn’t sold that it was the best thing for the football team. And the real answer, “Robert is the boss and the heat got too hot…” would have been less prudent than an icy stare.

By laying out the way things went down, I’m not seeing an insurrection against Kraft in the offing.

Brady — as he made very clear — is in, “Don’t ask me, I just work here…” mode. And Belichick has to know that the entire Brown affair has made life more difficult for the owner. They move on.
