AB for all the drama he causes, does have a very underrated football IQ. He is a master technician when it comes to route running. You don't continually make #1 CBs look like fools just on talent alone.

I am sure there will be plenty of conspiracy theories that this is Belichick cheating and telling Brown to shoot his way out of town so he can sign with the Patriots. The Pats only guaranteed $9 million where the Raiders were guaranteeing far, far more. I can't see Brown purposely giving up all that money.

My understanding is that he will still get the difference from the Raiders. So the Raiders will have to still pay whatever is not offset from Pats money.

Curran wasn’t wrong that the knee had gotten a scary infection and that the Brady camp was worried. Thankfully the doctors were able to knock it out. But if they hadn’t been able to he may well have missed games in 2009.

I deleted that sentence about him whining about his treatment here, though, because despite having what I thought was a pretty clear recollection of it, I didn't see any of that in his post history. So maybe it happened and he deleted it, but it's also possible (and frankly more likely) that I just didn't remember it correctly and unfairly wrote that.
