That was the point of starting this thread. To try and project where 2 young players on rival teams may end up.
The current resumes favor Gonzalez...but the question is about the long haul.

"who would you take RIGHT NOW heading into the future?" is different than "to try and project where 2 young players on rival teams may end up...the question is about the long haul." RIGHT NOW, heading into tomorrow, I (and I dare say the vast majority of NFL coaches and owners) would take Gonzalez. If you wanted to get into predicting the future and the possible upside of Jackson, I'd defer to others on that subject.
