This is part of the reason why by halftime Dierdorf and Gumbel had moved from typical QB ballwashing ("Brady's TDs are having babies") to disbelief ("Stop it!") to outright awe (they were speechless after Brady's fourth TD).
Meaningless stat. The Pats score more TDs than the whole league regardless of ball placement. Brady has thrown for more TDs than some teams have scored.
