Annual Rookie Symposium won't be held unless new CBA reached

An NFL spokesman told FOXSports.com that the annual rookie symposium won't be held unless a new collective bargaining agreement is reached between the league and NFL Players Association.

For prospects with off-field issues this is huge, teams who don't have strong internal programs may wish to steer clear of troubled lads. Teams like NE who do have strong programs, will still be extra cautious since there may be less time to introduce new players to the rules.
