Andre Carter was so hot last night.....
That I called the N.Y. fire department during half time!
All jokes aside, this is gonna be one of the finest game the defense has played in the past 3 years!!!! What a difference pass rush can provide us! I don't remember when the jets was on offense how many times Sanchez has been hurried up and being sacked, I just remember I am so not used to seeing all this pressure! It also looks like Rex Ryan was totally unaware of us being able to put that much pressure on his OL, our defensive front four totally dominated their OL, we were able to sack sanchez with only 4 rushers! When you get such a dominate pass rush like we had today, you don't need a really good secondary to cover the recievers because the QB will never have enough time to get the ball to them. On the offense side, instead of talking about how good Brady and Co. played, let's talk about their plan, the plan is: Strike the weakest link on the Jets D, guess who that is?
everyone needs to write a thank you letter to:
:rocker:Eric Smith:rocker:
He was basiclly the Serigo Brown of the jets D this week, he was getting burned BAD on a lot of plays, on the plays he wasnt getting burned, he was getting flags to help us advance. His play today totally reminds me and Serigo Brown last week and the boneheaded plays Meirwealther used to do, and that costed the Jets D greatly today. You are only as strong as your weakest link, and today our offense has greatly used this concept to beat the jets.
Rex sounds absoutely deflated after the game, he looks like he didn't expect it turns out to be the score suggests at all. At one point of the game, I felt that we were leading but always very close to being caught up, but suddenly the game just got away from the Jets, thanks to the AWSOME NICKO:singing::singing:
