Ok just for fun ... whats your line on the number of games
he'll miss this season.

I wonder if there are odds makers giving over/under on this

My guess is that he will miss a number of games equal to the number of threads that will be made about him today divided by 8.

7-9. For startets I expect him to miss the next couple of games.

Why do you consider this "fun"?

Don't even want to vote. Don't consider this fun. Rather, it's all our fears come true...

Will miss 6-7 this year. 2 will be jets and the bucs games

So he is going to miss 456 games this season?

What really matters is the health and availability of Gronkowski, Amendola, Edelman and Vereen for the playoffs.

While that is a true statement, it also matters if it is the difference in
making or not making the playoffs.

If we didn't have such a short week, I kind of doubt he would miss the game.

if he dose not play this week he will have 10 days until the next game that's a whole 2 weeks off he should be good by then gronk should be back and they wont need amendola to be in on that many plays at lest not until he's 100% so my hope is one game

I don't think that we are only a player or two ahead of the rest of the division. The rest of division is truly awful. All are bottom ten. At least 2 bottom 5.

making or not making the playoffs.

Vereen is out for 8 games. Amendola is out for at least a few. Gronkowski
has missed 1 game. What makes you think the above named players will
be on hand in enough games for the Patriots to be in the playoffs? I
think the Jets' game is in doubt because of the injuries.

Amendola gets a $31,250 roster bonus for each game that he is on the 46-man active roster.

they just reported on the sports hub that amendola is out 2 to 6 weeks.

X the number of fanbots who say "move along nothing more to see" when someone voices a durability concern about DA.

Should come out to: 1.5 million give or take a hundred thousand...

I'm going to guess 4 games overall. If he plays 12 games healthy for us and puts up expected performance, 80 yards per game x 12 = 960 yards. So anywhere in that range of 900 yards performance for a first season with relatively good health would be fine.
