All-time draft thread/picks

Like I said earlier, we all love our teams. I still have one slot to fill on this team but no matter if you want interior pressure, outside pressure, sacks, batted passes, tackles for loss, interceptions......I'm stacks across the board in every category. Everyone in the secondary has 50+ picks, The DL and OLB have over 500 sacks and then Seau and Mayo can clean everything up.

Bryant Young
La'Roi Glover
Jason Taylor
Julius Peppers
Ricky Jackson
Junior Seau
Jarod Mayo
Rod Woodson
Ken Riley
Ed Reed
Deron Cherry

It's taking a bit more digging to find more worthy candidates... I'll have another decision to make for the B team as well...
I know it's not easy.

I went two different directions. Tried building an absolute monster defense and offense separately. So I'm unbalanced but have a good idea of who/what I need that way.

This was a task guys but we're almost there. Hopefully by the end of the night. Let's say 9-10pm E we'll have 80% of this done. Regroup and really round out the rosters at the end of next week (Thurs/Fri). Start to make our case that weekend (Sat/Sun) and see what people think.

@everlong, I noticed an error on your spreadsheet. You listed that ******* Assante Samuel on my team A. I want no part of him and never picked him. I picked 4x All Pro, former Defensive Player of the year, and all around sack master Pat Swilling in that slot.

I did pick him though cuz ******* he may be but he got his hands on alot of balls

True, except for the one we all wish he had

Oh no he got his hands on that one too. He just didn't come down with it which is why he is a naughty word around these parts

And the one where he didn't though most people think he should have, that wasn't even the most egregious of that drive...

tbh id have to rewatch it to see... and i'd rather smack my nuts with an electric fly swatter than watch that game again

When he starts *****ing about the HOF I want somebody to reply to him with the video of that drop and say HOFers make that catch....with all due respect to Jackie Smith.

Ik @Dingleberry went this route. I thought chemistry, familiarity was important. Peterson and Hutchinson. Dixon and Hanford. Especiallyin the secondary. These two are easily a top 3-5 duo even today. Tough, tough dudes who were the heart and soul of those defenses. Smart guys wituball the attitude in the world. They went up against the best and came out looking very well.

If your secondary doesn't have 200 INT don't talk to me.

Appreciate the spreadsheet @everlong its a big help. Especially the total team. Thanks bud.

I made a few additions to my team to help see the big picture better. Not sure if you knew you let us use the edit.

I did realize. I figured it could be a tool for everyone. I've been busy with family stuff today so I haven't kept up on it so all help is greatly apprecitated.

I hope you guys have guys that have played the position you're thinking about. Like having an actual right guard as opposed to two guards. Right tackle/left tackle. Or corners that all play on the left side.
