Sounds like they decided they didn't even have a plausible backup. I still think they want Fitz or Kaepernick. Who knows, Peyton might "come out of retirement," as was suggested in a couple of places today.

People joke about this but even Mark Sanchez at this point is an upgrade over the corpse of Peyton Manning last season...it's an upgrade for them!

Nah. Peyton was awful last season, but his mind is far superior to that of Sanchez, and that alone makes him a better QB.

This afternoon i heard the guys on NFL radio say that B Oswiler didn't really want to return to denver because he'd have to fill payaton mannings shoes. The implication was he was afraid he could never meet such lofty expectations.i was . the way manning played he was a size 3. it woulnd't take much to be better than manning in 015. But i'm sure Lil'Markey will fck it up.
