I want to see what dmc does in the next few games before i can trust him like a elie player.

I think Elite players is more about trust if anything. You wait for them to make a big play in clutch time.

Right now it's brady on offense and chandler jones on defense.

So you don't think Gronkowski or Talib are elite players?

I think we have a number of elite players when all are healthy:

Offense
Brady
Gronkowski
Solder
Vollmer

Defense
Wilfork
Jones
McCourty
Talib

With players like Dennard, Ridley and even Amendola not far from that status.

I think McCourty has proven more than Chandler Jones to this point, I think you just like players that standout on the stat sheet and that's not likely as a safety playing centerfield.

I think McCourty has proven more than Chandler Jones to this point, I think you just like players that standout on the stat sheet and that's not likely as a safety playing centerfield.

Wilfork -while being a great run stopper is not a very good pass rushers(i think the patriots rush the passer better without him)
Chandler is like a lion hunting it prey when he rush the passer. It's absolute art to see him shed lineman and get to the qb.

There was a stretch this season when Talib all but shut down Vincent Jackson, Julio Jones, A.J. Green and Jimmy Graham that is special to me outside of Revis and Sherman I cannot think of another CB who could shut down those types of players. To be honest as great as Revis is I am not sure he could shut down a tight end like Graham.

The thing you have to keep in mind is without the play of Talib, McCourty and Dennard there would not be as many sack opportunities for Chandler Jones.

i know talib is elite. Talib is the second best patriot defender after chandler jones.
