If you're sure it's coming, why would you be tired of waiting? Unless you want it, of course...
I'd rather know too. This is unfair and interfering with our teams ability to prepare for the season either way.

They should tell them to shove it and prepare for the supreme court. I don't care if it's legal.

This is a cartoon, corrupt legal system.

My point is that the poster I replied to stated that he already knows. If you already know, there's no uncertainty and doesn't at all interfere with the team's ability to prepare. In fact, it makes it easier.

Remember, there is much influance and money in play here.
Corruption is rampant in this issue. And with enough money you can
meet anyones price, as everything and everyone has a price. jmo

I'm hoping that they've taken a different approach this year, in terms of making sure that Garappolo gets more time with the ones in practice settings. I'd have to think they're going to prepare JG for those starts and then if Brady somehow sees the en banc, he'll simply take the reigns again.

I know this is only speculation, but I think last summer was a bit different since the news of the punishment was relatively fresh and no one knew what the hell to expect. It seemed like there was still a lot of doubt that Brady would be suspended. I think that feeling may have changed a bit as time may have allowed Belichick to process this whole ****show, but again--I could be way off. I just think if you give someone like Belichick more time to think and acclimate himself to a problem, the higher the odds are that he'll cover more bases. We'll see.

Ya know, I'm not a big conspiracy theorist, but I've been thinking that this is a possibility for awhile now--in terms of some type of agreement with one/more of the judges.

We obviously know that the fix was in from the league office as far as what they could do, but it's a shame when we actually start pondering the idea of federal judges receiving payoffs, donations, or other agreements to predetermine cases. Unfortunately, I think it happens fairly often.

He's also a mammoth choke artist.

No doubt.

I wonder how often he thinks of the 2005 playoffs, as they were beating the Steelers 14-0 when he received the costly blow to the knee that derailed their hopes? Of course, he's had other opportunities that he's blown since then with ARZ, but beating the Steelers with the Pats being knocked out the next week (IIRC) would've helped to boost his chances of getting to the SB.

Lots to agree with there. I often wonder how much more the principals directly involved in these types of situations, i.e. Brady, Belichick know about what's likely to happen, as opposed to the general public. In any case, I also think that they've got to prepare with the thought that JG will likely be the starter for the first 4 games. I'm confident they'll be as ready as they can be. That doesn't mean I'm sure they'll go 4-0, but I think they'll be OK.

I'm a little bit surprised we still haven't heard anything on this. Soon, hopefully.

This week for sure. I'll bet my house on it.
I'll bet you a pack of gum for your house that we wont find out this week!

Seriously, I have a bad feeling that they won't rehear the case.
