I saw that.
He's one of the most humble, wholesome guys in the NFL.
It's just pure hatred for the Pats that lead to such statements, there is no other explanation.
I was reading the Bills forum a couple of weeks ago and they were ****ting on Maye.
One poster said they hated him, he is overrated, "and ugly".
There's no combating such well thought out analysis.
Maye wife bakes us cookies too
nothing more wholesome than that

I believe the Patriots have fans across the country though, not just here in N.E. Some are transplants, others bought in during the dynasty years. And this new regime with Vrabel/Maye is pretty likable.
id rather be hated tbh but im a hater by heart

I am shocked the usual suspects haven't come out to ridicule Josh Allen for crying.

Crying doesn't bug anyone when they win, never understood why these so called men lose their mind over another man crying because he's experiencing something painful to him.

I like Josh. He seems like a good dude. That was real. I respect it.

Their fans though I didn't realize until this year are absolutely wild.

I never said Allen sucks or is bad. I am saying he’s not worthy of being considered this incredible amazing otherworldly player. He’s as good as any other guy who makes it into the playoffs a lot as a low/middle seed but never sniffs a Super Bowl berth. Those guys can only be ranked so high.
Once/When/If the NFL changes the idiotic rules around the tush push/absolutely just ****ing carrying the QB Josh Allen's efficacy will go down significantly. With the current rules the Bills basically get 4 downs while every other team needs to punt.

The wildest thing about the interception in OT is that exact thing happened against us in game 2 against Buffalo and it went the Bills way. The NFL writers are DIABOLICAL. Props to the athletes for being able to pull these story lines off at full speed. It almost looks real.

CHB never passes up a chance to troll

Carl Everett’s short stay in Boston wasn’t exactly one to be celebrated, but he at least gave us two contributions: 1) sparing us the indignity of seeing a Yankees pitcher (Mike Mussina) throw a perfect game at Fenway Park, and 2) coining the CHB nickname for old Shank Shaughnessy.

I hate this for Josh. Flame away.
No flaming necessary.
He plays for our rival, but he's a great player and seems like a genuinely good person.
I have no hate foe Josh, and feel bad for him.
I stopped cheering for the failures of others many years ago.

So many NFL fans missed out on 20 years of amazing football by hating on the Pats for no good reason. With how much crappy football is played these days I would never dream of missing out on any over petty insecurities.

The world rooted against seeing the first 19-0 season in NFL history in 2007, and celebrated it too. I never forgot. I also didn’t forget those who were calling that 2001 team a fluke, or that the NFL wanted the Pats to win because of 9/11, or that the Pats didn’t deserve to win because of the Tuck Rule. Over time I just learned that it comes with the territory, and that more exposure to other fanbases through the internet means more hate directed towards your team. People were hating the Patriots because this team’s greatness was coming at the expense of their favorite teams. It’s lonely at the top, but damn is the view wonderful. I learned to focus on enjoying my team and worry less about whether or not people on the outside feel the same. We may never be universally loved or pitied again, and that’s perfectly okay with me. As our captain Stefon Diggs recently said, “I like us!”

2023 Divisional Round vs KC Allen has the ball late in the 4th with a chance to win and fails

2024 Conference Championship vs KC Allen has the ball late in the 4th with a chance to win and fails

2025 Divisional Round vs DEN Allen has the ball in OT with a chance to win and fails

lol BUF

Wow just watched the Bills/Broncos replay after work. That interference call at the end I think was bogus. I really wanted Buffalo if we win Sunday. When I logged on patsfans i saw a headline Bo Nix is out!? OMG Pats are in the Super Bowl!! ---IF --we win against the Texans of course.

Just checked in. Texans have Trent Brown right? ATTACK!

Stidham has a better arm but he hasn’t been prepping as QB1, he has far fewer reps with the top guys, and he’s got less mental fortitude than Nix. So while he may challenge the full field more than Nix, I think he is ultimately less of an overall problem.
He will have a week to prepare as QB1, and he will be riding higher adrenaline levels than anyone else on the field. Question is whether all that adrenaline fuels an out of his mind performance, or out of control jitters.

Assuming the Pats get past Houston, as I think they will, it is even more important than ever for the Pats defense to start fast. Don’t let him have any success early. Don’t let him get any positive momentum at all. Throw more crazy **** at him than Herbert saw, attack with maximum intensity starting from the very first snap. They need to approach it with the mindset that if he has even one successful snap he will take over the game. Don’t give him a breath of life. Make him see more ghosts than Darnold and Herbert saw, combined.

Tomorrow game decides the Superbowl participant.

Stidham is ****ed against both defenses giving the moment. Imo.

I tend to agree, with the caveat that if whichever team wins tomorrow gets too complacent and looks past Denver to the Super Bowl while still preparing for the AFCCG they could lose. It’s the ultimate trap game.

And if they do that they deserve to lose.

Really really basic fundamental rule of all competitions: it’s never good to downplay your opponent. If you win it cheapens your victory. If you lose it makes it much worse, magnifies your failure many fold.

Han Solo said it best: Don’t get ****y.

I like Maye chances vs Denvers defense more than stidham chances against the pats in that hypothetical.

Same for Stroud vs stidham as well.

Still. We play the games for a reason.

Absolutely. I’ve been very vocal about that. I joined this forum 4 weeks ago because I thought we’d face you in the AFCCG. It’s gonna be a great game.

Are you recovering from some kind of serious surgery? On house arrest? Or do you simply not have a life? genuine question. I hope you enjoyed your mom’s meatloaf tonight.

I hated the refs getting involved at the end. This was otherwise an absolute thriller of a game.
