It’s important to get off to a fast start in these games. In 2013 and 2015 we were down early. If we win the toss, got to take the ball.

The chiefs have won every arrowhead stadium game at below freezing temperatures except for one against the titans

I emphatically disagree. Both games against Denver it was "take the ball score first and take the crowd out of it". And both games that blew up in our face, we ended up punting and that fired up the crowd even more.

If we get down early (very possible the way the Chiefs tend to bust our coverages) we are going to need that post-halftime possession.

We're going to Kansas City, Kansas City here we come
We're going to Kansas City, Kansas City here we come
They got some crazy lil' QB there
And we're gonna beat us one.

I'm gonna be standing on the corner
Of Twelfth Street and Vine
I'm gonna be standing on the corner
Of Twelfth Street and Vine
With my Pats gear on
I'll listen to those Chiefs fans whine.

Well we might take a train
We might take a plane, but if we have to walk
We're going just the same
We're going to Kansas City, Kansas City here we come
They got some over hyped team there
And we're gonna get it done.

Oh but you know yeah

Now when we show with 5 trophies, I know they're gonna cry
Gotta get a brand new ring
That's the reason why
We're going to Kansas City, Kansas City here we come

The Chiefs, Rams, and Saints all had a lot to prove this regular season. They were hungry, and we saw all of their peaks. The Patriots fell victim to adrenal fatigue from the past 4 seasons. I dont believe last week was Dr. Jeckyll or anything like that. I think the Patriots are the best team remaining and have woken up from a slumber of sorts. The spark is back. I expect them to ride this tidal wave of new found energy and focus to reach a higher level of greatness.

For some reason I'm picturing the Rock singing that like he did on Raw years ago.

Here's why we'll give KC a much harder time than the Colts did. Colts didn't do a good job of matching up to KC's offense.

Coach has been a revelation since joining social media. I’d highly recommend getting Sirius just so you can listen to his spots on NFL Radio with Kirwan and Jim Miller.

Wow. Lot's of homers here. Sorry to pee in your Cheerios What about old man Brady in sub 0 temps? We all remember that young Eli Manning beating old man Favre in Green Bay. Farve looked cold! Eli did not. How will this team overcome the homer calls by the refs?! I was there in 2006 in Denver to witness one of the worst DPI calls I have seen. The crowd made the ref. change his mind! What about the noise and pass rush. They will have that 1/2 second jump or so that defenders get at home. Who can keep up with PM when he runs? KVN can't. They will double Edleman. Single Gronk and the other receivers. No DPI called in the playoffs so expect Gronk to be held all game. They always let them play. You wait and see. This will be close like the Denver games were but the Pats will fall short once again. Please bring on the red X's.

Never said "wouldn't have scored". Said they might have scored less.

It's just as silly to assume that they would have scored, or at least to assume that they would have scored TDs on all those possessions.

Hunt's TD came on a 3rd-and-2 from the Chiefs own 33 on their first possession of Q3.
The Chiefs' next TD came on a short field (29 yards, 4 plays) after Brady was strip-sacked.
The Chiefs' next TD came from 3 yards out after the 97-yard KO return.
The Chiefs' final TD that tied the game at 40 with 3:00 left, was Hill's 75-yard reception, obviously from the Chiefs' own 25.

That's 28 of 40 Chiefs' points that resulted from the Pats own eff-ups - FOUR of them. It doesn't seem at all irrational or silly to me to think that the Chiefs' might have scored less without them.

I don't care what some of the stats watcher say. The KC game was maybe the best performance that the D put together start to finish in the regular season. It was against an incredible offense (not the Bills or Vikings), with big implications for HFA (not like against the vacation bound Jets) and they had to play start-to-finish (unlike the Chargers game that was over at halftime).

Without the offense almost ****ing it up with turnovers and ST allowing that return we would have held KC to below 30 points.

No telling what TB12 will concoct to deal with the temperatures at Arrowhead this Sunday. Last year at home against the Jets, it was a wet suit. Bottom line, he will make the cold a non-factor better than any other QB knows how. That's just who TB12 is. You brought up some other valid concerns, but the weather getting to TB12, is IMO, not one of them.

We saw your “have no shot” post on page one. We get it.
