I wonder if the aggressiveness of 4th down/2 pt conversion attempts in the NFL today has to have led to more losses than wins. Conversion rates don't equate to wins, as different conversions have different impacts based on context. Not the biggest fan of it.

Would be interesting to analyze. Presumably the analysis is about what increases the odds of winning the game, but it’s possible they’re just looking at the expected value of the individual play. That would be the wrong way to view it; there’s a whole branch of math called ruin theory that covers this, where the results of an adverse outcome is so disastrous that the expected value doesn’t matter.

they are not fast enough on defense and no pass rush either. they shouldnt get away from cook like they did on the drive before the punt return
