AD has been out and there's been no threads?

I mean, here's a real good reason for the mediocre play of the defense in this preseason. I know there are other factors but AD has been out and Vrabel is just shaking off the rust.
On the plus side, obviously the Pats have been playing the rookies more and it seems they have responded well.
I hope that when AD gets back, Vrabel shakes off the rust and BB starts implementing game plans, we'll see the D we've come to expect these past few years.
But seeing our starters get gored by the run last night sure does svck

Woods is the primary backup and when AD was in with vrabel out he played his side and then when vrabel came back he covered AD side. woods seems to me is being coached to play both sides as backup .that is what preseason is for.
