I think the guarantee bit is a stretch but it's obvious what AB is posturing for.

Schefter reported that it was unlikely AB would play in 2019.

ABs meeting with Goody lasted 8 hrs.

They may have follow-up.

Team are holding off pursuing him until the NFL concludes its investigation.

It is unknown at this point if he will be put on the exempt list if signed but that is likely until the league concludes its investigation.

I don't think anyone is questioning that. We all know Brady does. That much is clear. Unless Kraft wants him back though it doesn't matter. Even then it might not matter if he is put on the exempt list.

Why do I have this sneaking suspicion that Tom was on the phone with AB telling him that he needed to apologize to Kraft if he ever wanted to come back and it went quiet for one second and AB can back on and said "done".

Would really make me forget the Gronk Shenanigans.
