O'Callaghan gets to work against "lighter" DEs...BB has everyone confused about the defense, who knew he could do that .Through the first two weeks of the season, Denver and Pittsburgh are tied as the least-penalized team in the league.
Team W-L Penalties-Yds
Denver 1-1 4-30
Pittsburgh 1-1 4-35
Cleveland 0-2 6-62
New England 2-0 7-69
New Orleans 2-0 8-58

DENVER will have to answer the call in their defensive front. With Courtney Brown out of the lineup because of his balky left knee, the Broncos will have to find a way to hold the perimeter on the strong side of the formation. Kenard Lang and John Engelberger are lighter.

NEW ENGLAND, knowing their offense has struggled some this season, is playing the confusion card this week. The team, which has run the 3-4 defense for much of Bill Belichick's tenure, played a 4-3 look against the Jets this past week. And the 4-3 puts Richard Seymour in position to make far more plays up the field.
