A Broncos fan's perspective on this Sunday's game

"First, you know what you need to stop a great offense. a great defense! Guess what the broncos have? a GREAT defense. we'll get some turnovers, for sure! Brady is NOT going to have an easy time. Von miller will be all over him. It's gonna be great. They probably wont have time for anything but short passes or VonMiller will have Brady for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Brady can't take that all day long. He's not Tebow Tough. He just isnt!

second, it would be great for Tebow to go against a weak defense. guess what the Pats have? a bad defense. Tebow is better now than he was 6 games ago! The Pats defense is going to have a really bad day trying to stop the Broncos.

third, there is the good chance Brady will get hurt. Broncos have a SICK RUSH. who's behind Brady? mmmmmhmmmmm.

All we need are some turnovers and for our receivers to make catches that they should make and even a few that are hard.....and Broncos will win!!!"

We can't beat the Patriots.... can we? - Page 5 - Broncos Country Message Boards

lmfao that's hilarious.

I'm suprised their analysis doesn't count in the god factor...that alone has won them 6 games or whatever.

Broncos fans remind me of Jets Fans.

In a thread specifically looking for reasons why we could beat the Patriots, yeah, you're going to find a lot of extremely optimistic posts rationalizing why we could beat the Patriots. I don't see what's so surprising about that.

I assure you most Broncos fans have much lower expectations and are merely hoping for a good game.

But yeah, Brady is awful against the Broncos. Not that I think that'll play a role on Sunday, but it's just one of those things...I think being at home will be key--in keeping the game close. I think we lose by 14+ in Gillette.

this game more then any other will be on Tebow if denver wants to win, BB will give Tebow all day to throw the ball into zone coverage but he will not let him run... the pats will play Gap control defense all day not rushing up the field but keeping the packet with out any open running lines for him,

can denver out score the pats with Tebow as a pocket QB ? yes they can we seen the redskins go toe to toe with the pats with less dept at WR and a worst QB... YES i said a worst throwing QB then Tebow because Grossman has more INT's then games played in he's career Tebow will not turn the ball over,

BOTTOM LINE this will be a very close game that the pats will win in the end but this is not a team i wanna see in the first round of the playoffs

You can say that again!

I don't see what's so surprising about that.
Every fan base is entitled to optimism (except for the Jets).

I fully expect a tight nerve-wracking game.

But yeah, Brady is awful against the Broncos.
Every season is different.

No doubt.

If this game is close, the Broncos will probably win....you can't let Tebow and co. hang around too long,if you got a lead on that team you better hammer the nail in the coffin early and keep pounding up the score, because Tebow has clearly shown he is one of the best young QBs in the game when they are close and if the Broncos are getting pummeled by 3 or 4 scores behind, Tebow has ZERO chance to make a comeback.

If the Pats have a notable lead at halftime they better not slack off like they did in the Colts game or they are going to be sorry.

This is going to be the type of game where you can see what is the likely outcome just by how the game is won in the trenches early and how easy...or hard it is for the Pats to move the chains.

Having only seen the last part of Bronc's games, except the Jets on NFLN, I was not totally familiar with the personnel.

Having my PFW today and looking at the depth charts, that Bronco's defense is young and for real. The OL is also young and for real. This is not going to be a walk in the park.

It looks like the reason they are winning is that these young players are coming together. Josh did not do as bad a job as many thought.

I wouldn't give too much credit to him. He helped them land Von Miller that one i agree upon i guess.

Broncos looked like a growing team with Cutler,Schefler,Marshall and etc. aswell.

And they looked horrible at times this season and now have run into a string of luck and some clutch play. It's not like it hasn't happened before. This is just getting way too much exposure because its the son of god leading the team.

it's horrible..the media has ruined him for about 90% of us. I now can't stand him mostly because of what the media has done aka talk about him non stop

For one thing i don't think the Patriots are going to have many Three and outs. The Broncos have beaten Teams which putrid Offenses which certainly helped Tebow's cause. I don't see how Denver will stack up against the #2 Offense lead by Tom Brady and Gronk. Game should be a laughfer by halftime.

Patroits 54

Broncos 9

Here are the teams Denver has beat during their winning streak: Chic (back up qb, Min, SD, KC, Oak and Mia. Not much competition. Also Greenbay (49 pts) and Det (45 pts) put up monster numbers up against their defense. I also like our chances because rookie QB's don't usually do well going against Belichick. Pats 35 - Denver 14.

Why CBS? Did you have to take this game? I would've loved to see it on primetime on NBC. But as long as Jim Nantz and Phil Simms are calling the game, I'll look forward to it. They're one of my favorite football broadcasting teams.

Despite living in a secondary market, I get to see an awesome game too!!!

Browns vs Cardinals.

They've been brutal this year. Sims went from calling like it is to calling like the NFL and network want it called.
