San Francisco’s afternoon game against the Saints yesterday drew a 38 share, Lou D’Ermilio, a spokesman for Fox, said in an e-mail. The Patriots-Broncos matchup had a 34 share, CBS said in an e-mailed statement today.

Saturday nights are a bear as far as ratings. The Tebow/Brady game brought in huge numbers for the slot:

in the metered market household ratings (which are for the full game and time zone adjusted, it did set a record for a Saturday division round primetime game and was the highest rated AFC divisional playoff in 18 years.
