I love the first 5 mins Of Patriots all Access

This year Patriots All Access has a great first 5 minutes.

They have film and sound that we just don't see before, during, and after the game. One thing that we don't see on TV is how much "back bench" coaching BB does during the game. All we see is him standing on the sideline talking with his head phones.

Great shots of Corey hugging Marvin Lewis before the game, Big Vince singing and dancing, Rodney bumping Chad Johnson (playfully) before the coin toss.

I wish that they would expand that to 10 mins. I'm sure that they more "footage". In fact I'm going to write to Channel 5 and ask them to expand that segment.

It's on Channel 5 in Boston every Sat at at 7. I believe that they replay it sometime on Sunday morning- check the listings.

Thanks for the info., PATSNUT. Since I've been in the U.S., my motto has been: pig out on the games, mute the sound and don't watch any discussion shows. Sounds like there is one that I should try to watch, after all.

This iis really the only one that I know of that isn't all "opinion". They have BB on to breakdown some film on his "belistrator". They just had a feature on Stephen Neal. Coming from a wrestling family (not the TV shoit) and being a football nut, I thought was very interesting.

Check it out. They don't have media opinions until- right now.

Last night's segment was really good. I enjoyed seeing BB give the game ball to Dillon and Maroney. Dillon was grinning from ear to ear.

Rodney did bump Chad playfully but Chad do not lot too happy about it.

I recorded All Access and watched last night. Locker room scene towards the end.. the all break up and a guy in a grey shirt and no pants walks away taking off his shirt.. no pants and no blurry dot covering his white ass up... Judging by where Matt Light standing in the 'huddle', I think it was him. Pretty funny they missed that in the editing room...

I did "write" to channell 5. Doubt if it does any good. Once they have format, they stick to it.

But, if more people do, they may expand that segment. Go on their web site and go to "contact us" then choose "sports" and send your request.

FYI -- If you're a Comcast subscriber, you can also see Patriots All Access on Patriots On Demand. They usually update the listing on Wed. They also have Totally Patriots On Demand as well.

It's my Sun morn ritual to watch All Access followed by Totally Patriots from 10-11:30 then switch over to Channel 4 for Patriots Game Day to 12 PM. Then it's the Network pre-game show. And I agree the behind the sideline stuff is great and I too wish it was extended.

I heard back from Mike Lynch.

He told me that they are currently using all the footage that the Patriots allow in the first segment of the program.

In the future, hopefully, the Patriots will allow more. I does give us fans the opportunity to see more of what is really happening.

It's definitely violating copyright. But, so isn't 99% of everything on YouTube. I had some ABC TV shows (that aren't on the air anymore) posted a while back and YouTube sent me an email stating they received a complaint from the copyright owner. It scared the cr@p out of me with info "to be supplied to any legal council..". Needless to say I removed it quick. But, it's unlikely anyone will complain about a local show that has a pretty short "shelf life" like All Access.
