Congratulations to JC Jackson (1st), Judon (3rd), and Slater (10th).

Slater sets/extends the record for most ST pro bowls. Tasker is next with 7 total.

Judon, no brainer.

Folk I think was a snub. He's a weapon.

JC Jackson's price keeps going up. Best ball hawk in the league. Way too late to get him on a good value extension now. Probably deja vu with Asante on a tag then leave next year, and then painful years of crappy non-press pass defense, after JC leaves and McCourty retires.

Well deserved. I think nobody in the AFC kicker wise had a shot. Tucker is the GOAT next to Vinatieri

Crazy question, but could Slater have any chance at the Hall of Fame? 10 pro bowls, 5 All Pro 1st team, 2 second team, 3 Super Bowl wins with 5 played in. Hard to imagine a special teamer making it, but that's a hell of a career. I could see it being a discussion when he retires. Maybe if he had memorable game changing plays in post season games a better argument could be made.

If anyone did it would be him. Also wonder about Vinatieri

Would’ve liked to see an O-Lineman get the nod.
Namely Shaq Mason. Year in and year out he grades out as one of the top 2 guards in the league and gets no national recognition. David Andrews is an important team leader but he’s a middle of the pack center

Deserves consideration at the very least... Will not make it though... Can't think of any "non-skill" special teamer that has...

Do you folks vote for the pro bowl? I try to... I only vote for Patriot players, never for other teams players

Wonder why guys like cardona, who is a good long snapper, never make it... We usually have decent special teams... Just popularity? Or is there something that makes the "winners" stand out

Who made it at LS ?

Some guy you never heard of ... Luke Rhodes, Indy clots...

Some Random Guy from falcons on the NFC side

I think Cardona does a nice job. And this is unfair for him and not related to him but the missed PATs or blocked punts probably don't create a great impression. Again not his fault.

.

Has Slater blocked a punt, forced a fumble, scored a ST td this season? he might've downed a punt inside the 20 a time or 2....otherwise he's done very little of impact, but he has had a couple massive St penalties

I think Andrews is a great leader. I think his play is good but not great. He gets blown up too much for my liking, especially against top dt's. According to numbers, Brown has been our best O-lineman, but he hasn't played enough to get pro bowl honors. The next best lineman by the numbers has been Shaq. I think he's had a good year, but I remember a few costly penalties that hurt us.

Right now I don’t see Slater getting in the HoF. Kickers have enough trouble getting in this conversation and they contribute more than special teams specialists.

But if or when Steve Tasker makes it (he is a semi finalist this year) that might change things for Slater.
