Seems clear to me that Zappe thought it was a free play on the fake spike, probably due to offsides, so he let it fly. Then discovered there was no flag and was displeased. But he won’t criticize the refs since he can’t afford the fine at his salary.

This is my interpretation as well. BB’s disbelief was like “offsides not called, DPI not called, and a pick jesuswtfomgbbq” rather than any sort of issue with Zappe

Keion White has been invisible this season. A whopping 8 total tackles and no sacks. He looks like he just stands around.

What another awful draft this was for Bill.

He doesn't look much different from Wise except he seems to have better speed.

Yup as a Toronto boy it's been a terrible weekend of football for me. First my hometown 16-2 Argonauts commit 9 turnovers and get blown out of the CFL eastern final, and then this performance by the Pats. Only thing that will redeem the weekend would be if somehow the Bills lose today.

It's a learning experience for him to make damn sure the flag has actually been thrown before you go balls-to-the-wall with it. He's played roughly 4 total games' worth of snaps, not continuous, so he has a lot of these little things to learn.

Do stats support that the better players tend to go earlier rather than later?

Defense played brilliantly, didn’t expect that type of performance without judon and gonzo. Run game looked good. These are things to build off of for next year

passing game and st was especially atrocious today vs just being ineffective. No excuses for not winning this one after what the former two did for us today. Concentrate 100% on offense next year and fire cam achord. That SHOULD be an easy start to righting the ship. Simply playing st like we used to on a competent staff would have added a couple wins to each season since 2021

I never see QB's that end up being good needing that learning experience. Your bias is showing. Just accept that the QB of the future isn't on the team right now
