Green and Johnson are two super intriguing prospects that look like the cream of the crop. Both have top 25 potential. Both are very big targets and offer serious position flexibility.
Johnson is plus blocker who has very active, accurate hands when engaging and plus grip strength. He does a nice job making first contact inside. Explosive first couple of steps but hes very smooth and doesnt lose much speed when making lateral changes. He loves using a lil side step w a swim move to separate. Doesn't fall off or lose momentum. Love his movement skills. Good hands as far as i can see, drops werent an issue with what i saw. Productive player who spent a good amount of time inline and slot. He looks like an NFL player and will be one of the more complete TE in this draft.
Green is an absolute freak. Doesn't offer the inline protection that Johnson will just yet but with his size hes capable of working more outside as he gains experience. A little more explosive than Johnson. Green moves like a wr in space. Naturally separates bc of his size. A regular plant & cut seemingly creates 5 yards of space. We'll hear about another TE at LSU in a year or two as well. They're pumping them out but Green is a force. His basketball background is evident in the red zone. Esp with 50/50 balls. He turns into a bully power forward. Has to work on his rr but hes got a lot of potential for yac yards once he develops a little more anticipation and spatialawareness. Hes got a lot work to do there but has shown decent development in certain areas.

Both of these guys look like legit 1st round picks. Benjamin Brahme and Norfleet are also very much in the top 75 picture. Lofton and Carter could make jumps into that space as well.

What are your thoughts on Peter Clarke, BGC?

Also, what were your thoughts on Eli Raridon and the other 2026 TEs?

Jamari Johnson was my #1 2027 binky going into the 2027 draft, but if Eli Raridon shows signs of reaching his potential they might be redundant.

Wanted to put him a tier higher, I might before the summer is over. He's pretty physical and shows a lot of effort/pride in blocking. Which is the fastest way to get on the field. Understands when/how to use leverage but has to do a much better job when it comes to r/r - timing, presenting a quality target for his qb, even how many steps/strides it should take to get to his spot. Hes one of a few i wouldn't be surprised to make a jump to 2A before next year.

I had him on my ptp list. Probably wouldn't have taken him where we did but I like the pick. First off the bus type. Obviously very athletic. In terms of athleticism, potential, here & now etc hes one of the more complete tes in the class. There's blocking then theres like real NFL type stuff. Which requires thought, movement and real commitment. Hes shown hes able to cut off edges, pick up diff blitz packages and been consistent at it which is another area in general. Blocking is so far from easy. Guys that wore it as a badge of honor have trouble with it from college to pro.
I didn't love the class. Not top heavy or deep imo but obviously liked some guys - Claire, Trigg and Roush were my personal favs.

I think we'll be looking for another TE next year regardless tbh. I think we're going to overhaul that position over the next few years. Eli was the beginning imo. Johnson is such a good prospect. Hes really so complete and doesnt mind getting physical at all. On the giving end when he has the ball too. I like him a lot too.
