He reminds me a little of Jonathan Baldwin. Now, I know that guy was a bust, but he had some of the most insane catches I've ever seen at the college level. Maye to Fields has a nice ring to it.

Fields is a beast. He dealt with really bad QB play at Virginia and ND had a lot of weapons to draw targets, Carr distributes the ball extremely well, frankly I don't think Mike Denbrock used him as effectively as he could have and ND had a great, explosive running game and one of the reasons it was so explosive was the WR blocking, which was phenomenal in general but Fields was a key part of that. Because he was so valuable blocking, he was on the field for a lot of those run snaps, which meant he wasn't on the field for as many true pass snaps. This wasn't a huge deal but it still impacted his production a bit.

I know I'm always pumping up ND players here, but I desperately want the Patriots to take some ND guys after staying away completely for a long, long time. Plus I think Fields has the potential to be a very good #2 and also has a solid floor. I think he's a safe pick with pretty good upside.
