2026 Pre-Draft Meetings

I wouldn't count on your first. Karen Gugerian says mid-round guard. Of course she could have been given bad info but everything looks like Edge in the first. I'd put RT and WR ahead of a first round guard too. But who knows, I like Pregnon.
How about Fano? Do teams think he is a guard so he drops?

Yes he'll probably be a guard and the question, do two guards go in the first. Three went last year before 31.

I think weren't going to be lucky to see 1 OG go in the 1st round. I just think that there are so many others that will get taken in terms of Edge, LB, WR, Safety, CB. OT and OG have a lot of above average types, but no real standouts.. There are no Joe Thuney's or Linderbaums or Creed Humphrey's in this draft.

Vega Ioane is getting top 15 buzz and Fano really impressed in the combine drills. It wouldn't surprise me if both go top 20 but, as you say, things change.

I didn't see it mentioned but in the Herald article talking about Hndrickson and Chaisson, it was mentioned that Zion Young had a meeting with the Patriots.

I think I'd rather Gabe Jacas than Young.

If Fano is a guard, then top 3 are Ioane, Pregnon, and Fanu? We would get the 4th? Farmer? Is Mauigua a guard like Fano? Lots of balls in the air. If it is a OT is it Miller now at 31?

I think we have to fix the OL but I understand from the reports (which are not always accurate but not way off) that it is EDGE to start. So who knows? The OL ALWAYS gets drafted faster than predicted.

I'm a bit surprised that the Pats have talked to 5 Centers. All 5 seem to be day 3 picks/ Priority UDFA..

And only two - three guards that we know of. I have no idea what the Jared Wilson plan is.

take the visits with a pinch of salt though, the Pats press are really bad at finding out who we've met with. For example, each team gets 45 combine interviews and we know of only about ten. However, I can probably tell you who all 45 were for the Cowboys. There's a lot of incomplete contact info.

With him on skates @ LG I think he would be better suited @ Center.

Not so sure. Give him an off-season to get stronger, and see what FA tells.

- Sign Tyler Linderbaum: Wilson stays at LG
- Sign AVT: Wilson moves to center

Having met Mesidor and Kamari Ramsey, an expected 2nd round pick at safety, the Mesidor-Stukes fantasy is still alive.

Thank God. We need a cover safety and this draft is deep like Wheatley and Payne. Actually I am optimistic because someone on Vrabel's team gets it which is evidenced by their draft pick of Woodson last year. I highly doubt it is to play a 3-safety rotation, Hawkins is not that good.
