In my personal opinion I don't see a world where TE is the BPA no matter what 15 next players are picked next. I don't like Stowers or Klare.. I think both are not 2nd rounders. I am underwhelmed by them.
Is Chris Bell still available? The next TO = Ted Hurst the next A.J. Brown = Chris Bell I'm torn.
He is.Is Chris Bell still available?
Take him, pass on AJ Brown.
Oh no! someone in a forum has an opinion.
Like an ACLThe next TO = Ted Hurst the next A.J. Brown = Chris Bell I'm torn.
Already a done deal... would be nice for him to learn from his comp.Is Chris Bell still available?
Take him, pass on AJ Brown.
Do you feel like we need any more pieces on offensive line or do you think we’re going to be good with what we have now… I’m just thinking about depth never mind somebody you could make an immediate impact… Like you said it was so atrocious in the playoffs, especially the Super Bowl that I think it is still the most important part of our team to addressThe obsession with Edge is a tad ridiculous. NE had a top 5 defense and had a historic playoff run.
They didn't lose the superbowl due to a poor pass rush. They lost because the offense sucked the entire playoffs and especially in the Superbowl.
The oline was the weakest link and has been addressed first. A promising rookie TE is the next hole to fill before a rookie Edge that would potentially be 5th of the depth chart. We dont know how much Ponder and Swinton have progressed.
Nothing is ever done until the paperwork is given to the league. Everything is just conjecture right now.Already a done deal... would be nice for him to learn from his comp.
If that happens then we already have Brown’s successor in the house.Already a done deal... would be nice for him to learn from his comp.
With Lomu they are set although I would dip in at guard possibly later in the draft. I'd go LB or TE with the next pick. Those are glaring needs.Do you feel like we need any more pieces on offensive line or do you think we’re going to be good with what we have now… I’m just thinking about depth never mind somebody you could make an immediate impact… Like you said it was so atrocious in the playoffs, especially the Super Bowl that I think it is still the most important part of our team to address
That's only a 20 point trade trade in the first place - looks like the swap of the later picks is worth about 15That seems really steep to only move 2 spots in the second round
lets make the 'Brain Trust' the new official nickname of the draftniks on this board. I like it! Manx/Mayo/Bacon = Brain Trust. I'm down for it.Well, the brain trust had a great draft last year, let’s see if it is a pattern.
