2026 Mock Draft Thread

What I take from that is they see Wilson + Bradbury > Brown + Wilson or Brown + Bradbury right now.
Fair. The same occurred to me which is why I added this caveat.

3. If during the pre-draft process we see more centers being interviewed than obvious LGs, we'll know that to be the case.

I'm just watching a live 2 round PFF mock draft.

Parker, Mesidor and Freeling were off the board at 31. I would have gone with Miller or Iheanachor in that situation (no trades) but Trevor Sikkema picked Keldric Faulk for us. Thoughts?

I'll update with the 63rd pick.

Faulk is a top 15 prospect. You don't pass on that IMO.

Post-Senior Bowl mock from Ryan Wilson at CBS Sports:

He has TJ Parker going #7 overall, ahead of David Bailey. Max Iheanachor goes 21.

He has Monroe Freeling to the Pats at 31. No Akheem Mesidor in the 1st. Freeling/Iheanachor and a trade up to snag Mesidor would be my dream draft.

Give me Freeling or give me DE.

2 round mock from ESPN Matt Miller:

He has the Pats taking Cashius Howell at 31 and Elijah Sarratt at 63.

I take either Akheem Mesidor (36) or Max Iheanachor (50) in the first, then try to trade up for the other. Lee Hunter (49) and Emmanuel Pregnon (55) other potential targets.

I like Elijah Sarratt, but the only WR still on the board who I would consider at 63/64 is Ted Hurst.

One of my conclusions from all of these mocks is that someone - quite likely someone of interest to the Pats - will fall, both to 31/32 in the 1st round, and to the mid-2nd round. It's impossible to say who, bit there are too many guys bunched together.

Right now my default approach would be to see who falls to us in the 1st, then be prepared to trade up in the 2nd if a highly valued prospect slips.

Examples:

(1) Freeling/Iheanachor at 31/32, trade upbif Mesidor or Parker slip. Maybe Hunter.

(2) Mesidor/Parker at 31/32, trade up of Iheanachor/Pregnon/Miller slips.

A DB or WR could also be a move-up target.

Zion Young seems to be gaining post-Senior Bowl altitude as well, which may shake things up.

Trevor Sikkema mock:

He has the Pats taking Zion Youngat 31.

Caleb Banks 9, Akheem Mesidor 17, TJ Parker 20, Lee Hunter 25, Max Iheanachor 28, Keionte Scott 29.

But Monroe Fleming, Caleb Lomu, and Emmanuel Pregnon (32) all available.
I wouldn't take Young over Freeling but I might over those other two. I think Young has Vrabel's kind of psycho.

Is he too much like Keion White though?
That was my concern too. At least he won't be 24 or 25 in his Rookie Season. But I'm very leery of drafting him in the 1st or even 2nd Rounds.
