By the accounts, does seem like the officer could've certainly just let him go.So just a power tripping police officer then?
Blocking a sidewalk, give me a break.

Vrabel, Josh and Maye agree,If we could get 3-4 good years from AJ during Drake's Prime years a first would be acceptable. I just don't know what we are getting with him. I do believe part of his problem last year was due to motivation, he seems genuinely unhappy in Philly.

For blocking a sidewalk? This will probably drop him a round or so..

Don't think so.
I agree, but at the end of the day these guys are still kids.
I did dumb **** when I younger. Get a couple of drinks in ya and judgement fades.
He was probably drunk, doesn't seem like a serious crime.
I'm not condoning it. All prospects should be on house arrest leading up to the draft to avoid these situations, but again, he's young and it doesn't seem to be a very serious crime.
Might hurt his stock, might not.
The timing is really bad.
You can be drunk in public and not be charged. If he was drunk, they'd have cited him for public intoxication.
The only thing "serious" is that it speaks to Branch having problems with authority and, potentially, a bigger attitude problem.
It doesn't have to be serious to affect his draft stock.
You can be drunk in public and not be charged.
You're making a pretty big leap here.
He has a problem with authority because it took a couple of requests for him to move from a sidewalk?
You are entering Ring territory here.No s**t. REALLY?? Who'd a thunk THAT. But clearly, YOU need things SLOW-WALKED for you to understand them.
If the Police Officer was such a hard ass that he felt the need to CITE Branch for being a dumbass and not moving when he was told to do so, what makes you think he wouldn't have cited Branch if Branch was drunk in public?? Especially when Branch was being so f'in stupid. If Branch was drunk, they'd have stuck him in the drunk tank and not let him out after posting bond after just 2 hours.
No. I'm not making a big leap at all. You, however, are failing to comprehend that there was a 2nd charge. Obstruction of a Police Officer.
It was 1:30 in the morning. Branch and a bunch of others were on the sidewalk in a commercial area and blocking the entrance to a business. They were told to move off the sidewalk. The others moved, but Branch refused numerous orders to move. When he did finally move, he didn't move off the sidewalk. Instead, he just smirked.
At that time of night, blocking the entrance/exit of a building can have serious safety ramifications. Branch's reaction just shows how much of a dumbass he is.
A day 3 bargain.
He certainly provides the size at 6-5. He also just looks big and has enough physicality.Does look like a Vrabel guy. Hollins replacement?
Can he block a small child? He certainly provides the size at 6-5. He also just looks big and has enough physicality.
Depends how small. He might struggle with someone under 5' at 6'5"Can he block a small child?
Who is their slot guy other than Hollins? Schism? If we trade back as I anticipate we will then we might have the luxury of taking a Cyrus Allen late but otherwise this position is filled with the trade of AJ.
