I wonder who was 1st?
I’d go Calvin Johnson and/or maybe Isaiah Neyor last year. Most likely, Megatron who ran in someone else’s shoes.

Or Randy. Looking at the RAS website, there are quite a few with 10s including Calvin Johnson. Two are Vincent Brisby and Tony Simmons.I’d go Calvin Johnson and/or maybe Isaiah Neyor last year. Most likely, Megatron who ran in someone else’s shoes.
Sorry PF2, it wasn't just injuries that made him drop. The reason *Puka Nacua* dropped was because he a mash unit in College *always injured*. Your comparison to M Fields is way off. I am sure Fields have no ailments at the moment; like I said I have no problems with Fields from the Fifth round on.
I think he is, route running on film tells me more than running in a straight line without pads and lined up in a 3 pt stanceCarnell Tate thought he would run in the 4.4's is 4.53 Top 10 WR?? Inquiring minds would like to know.
Some guys defeat the odds look at Brady and many others it happens sometimes.Sorry PF2, it wasn't just injuries that made him drop.
He dropped because of his lacking athletic profile.
Graded as an "average backup or special teamer, rd 6-7".
He ranked 47th in athleticism score for WRs. But put him on the football field, he looks plenty athletic to me.
He was the 20th drafted WR in 2023, 20th!!!
James Worthy has been very underwhelming so far. And you said you didn't want any midgets, Worthy was 5'11 165 lbs at the combine.
Has he made some plays, sure but he's very inconsistent.
Point is don't get too hung up on a 40 time, it really isn't a good indicator of how good an NFL WR one will be.
That is right. Don't try to beat the odds because that happens rarely. Stick with the "tried and true" which is superior athletic performance wins more times than not. Some guys defeat the odds look at Brady and many others it happens sometimes.
Agreed when that talent comes with production. That is right. Don't try to beat the odds because that happens rarely. Stick with the "tried and true" which is superior athletic performance wins more times than not.
Agree 100%. Nothing worse than "this athlete has a high athletic ceiling and will be better in the NFL than he was in college". Even more true now than ever with a lot of 5th and 6th year seniors (they stay due to NIL money) who have high floors and low ceilings. If a guy has produced nothing in college by 24 years old, forget about it.Agreed when that talent comes with production.
Very often NFL GMs get sucked into drafting a guy with more talent and less production thinking they can be developed.
It works sometimes, but I would argue more often that not it doesn't.
I am always leery of supreme athletes who lacked college production.
His tape was hardly whelming. I can certainly see the attraction, the question is, is he Isaac Teslaa or more Dont'e Thornton? My worry is the latter. His tape was underwhelming this year. I'd rather take a day 3 moonshoot with Jeff Caldwell.
Glad he won you over I like more than the other guy.One name that went up in my estimation is Ja'Kobi Lane. Ran a 4.47. jumped 40" and was terrific in drills, all at 6'4", 200 with 10 1/2 hands. If they're looking at an X in this draft, he's not a bad day two option, moreso than he was pre-combine.
He probably never was on it considering how high he's expected to go. That interview did bother me but I still like the player. So he's off our Board now??
I might be out on Makai Lemon. Do they do drug testing at the combine?
I like the kid too, but not over BPA, especially if BPA is an edge rusher. He's a WR I would give serious consideration to at 31. However there are a number of others I would rate over him if they are still on the board when they pick. Banks is obviously one, Parker, Mesidore, and Ineachor are some others. Some if not will depend upon who they think they can get in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, which I honestly don't know well enough to guage the likelihood of those positions/prospects well enough to say. Usually interior OL is still pretty strong on day 2, and WR should be as well.
Yeah I remember a young Randy Moss didn't win anyone over with a black cloud over him. How did his NFL Career turnout??I read somewhere else he did not help himself this weekend.
