2026 Draft: Interior OL

We've discussed Jager Burton but a reminder. He's currently listed at 151 on the consensus board.

The defacto captain of the last 2 National Championships, Pat Coogan isn't being talked about enough IMO.

I like him, but I think his play strength is a concern. He's mostly fine against a bull rush, but any kind of blocking scheme that involves him moving from his spot gets ugly. He gets thrown about too easily. I believe he has quite short arms, which might be a contributing factor, he might be reaching to the point where he's slightly off balance.

I'd love for the Pats to add him.. He's a tank in the middle of the O-line. He'd be a good reserve for his rookie year. He'd definitely push Ben Brown for a roster spot.

I just did some digging on Trey Zuhn for another post and boy was I surprised.

Despite playing LT for TAMU, he's seen as a center in the NFL because of his 32.5" arms. However, at 6'6" and 312lbs, guard isn't out of the question either. He legitimately has 5 position flexibility.

And can we talk about his pass blocking grade. He had a grade of 96.8. The next best O linemen, not just tackles, had a grade of 91.6. That's a huge difference.

However, i knew all that. what I didn't know was that he ended up with a 9.96 RAS which is in the Freeling/Iheanachor ballpark.

A 5 position backup with starter potential at any of those 5 positions and close to elite athleticism? What's not to love?

There have been few suggesting that OG is a priority. Do folks believe that Wallace is our 2nd backup IOL?

He is right now. Whether that's the case at the end of camp is a whole other matter.

I really like the idea of drafting Trey Zuhn.. I think that he's actually ahead of Wright and Burton because of his versatility...

“But what do I love about him? … He’s unapologetically a guard. If you’re at the line of scrimmage, you know what I want? Really nasty (and) rugged. And this is the toughest dude in the draft. Multiple people told me that. Give me the nastiest, meanest, fire-breathing, rip your head off, unapologetic about it. That’s Keylan Rutledge.

NFL scouts on Micah Morris

Micah Morris

You won't find Morris very high on many mock drafts or positional big boards floating around the internet right now. That's not because of ability.

"He's probably a first-round talent who goes late Day 2 or early Day 3," a veteran NFL scout said. "He should be a first-rounder based on the flashes on tape. But he's not."

Morris, a multiyear starter at Georgia who weighs 334 pounds, ran a 5.09-second 40-yard dash and posted a 9-foot-4 broad jump.

Some teams have questions about his work ethic.

"I'll be curious where he goes because there are not many guards and he's got a lot of ability," the scout said. "But people are afraid of him."

No shuttle, no 3 cone, no bench.
