2026 Draft: Cornerback

Well firstly it's "on the bright side". Any Python fan would know that
Yes, you are right. I am claiming autocorrect.
Secondly, a funny story about that. during the Falklands war in the eighties when a British ship was sunk and the crew would take to the life rafts, that's the song they would sing to keep their spirits up.
I was living in England (Birmingham) during the Falklands conflict. It wasn't really a war

This is why I like James Foster. I'm pretty sure he cuts up these videos himself and he gives you a wide range of plays to watch covering all aspects of the prospects plays. And when he does a scouting report he uses video of plays which match what he's saying about a prospect.

As for Julian Neal, there are four or five plays on that video which were wow worthy. The first one where he presses the receiver out of bounds (throws him out the clu), one in run support where he just throws his blocker to one side and makes the tackle and another on a deep go route where he matches the receiver stride for stride and then makes the play on the ball.

Another reason to watch Arkansas now.

There's a lot to like on those clips: big, physical, good technique, good hips, sticks like glue in man, tackles well.

Binky-worthy stuff. Not on anyone else's board so far, as far as I can tell.

Yup. Haven't found him anywhere. now we just need to keep quiet about him. I'll put a call into the FO when the time is right.

He's not even one the Mock Draft Database which goes 1000 deep. He is a senior though.

Damnit! The news is out.

He'd been in the top 100 on PFN for about a month, pushed down lately. For me, beyond bio stuff I couldn't any video/review on him. Guess he'll rise again.

So just a cautionary note on Julian Neal. He has given up 20 receptions on 31 targets for a 65% reception allowed percentage which is quite high and then there's this

So he's not perfect and probably not a day one starter. However, I do think he's ideally placed to be a big nickel early and be an ideal Carlton Davis long-term replacement. And, at that size, 6-2, 205, I can see safety being a possibility if he doesn't work out at corner. In other words, don't expect a day one shutdown corner, but there is plenty of promise as a draft and develop guy.

Ultimately his draft stock probably lives and dies with his timed speed. Sub 4.5 - high, closer to 4.6, risks going undrafted.

that Texas secondary

Love Johnson, but I worry about his weight and long speed. He needs to put on 15-20# without giving up any speed.

That’s Julian Neal getting beaten I’m afraid.
