Hollins makes the team easily and will play a ton.For me I put Pop and Diggs at the top.
I put Williams and Boutte in the next tier. Though the Boutte trade rumor gives me slight pause. And Williams being a rookie and just a 3rd rounder I wouldn't automatically assume his role yet but his roster spot is probably safe.
Then the there's the rest. I think just because he's a 2nd rounder Polk is probably on top and most likely to contribute. Bourne is still interesting as he is the most productive but also the oldest for him unless there's a bump back to old form now further removed from the acl then he's probably on the outside. Baker likewise probably has an uphill climb. I might be a little unfair to Hollins but I kind of see him more of a safety valve as he brings a known set of skills and level of play but I'd like to think of the guys above enough will be good enough that Hollins won't make it but they have to actually beat him out first.
Kind of a weird group in that they all still have a little something to their story where you don't want to completely write them off and I think we still need be cautiously pessimistic because none of these guys are perfect even Diggs is coming off injury and not a young guy anymore.
With a little bad luck we could still be screwed but I think there's enough bodies that things will sort themselves out and at least be better and have more upside than last year.

Is there something about Hollins you know that you would like to enlighten us with.1. Diggs
2. Hollins
3. Williams
4. Douglas
5. Boutte
6. Bourne
(at least 1 will get injured so effectively these are our WR)
Polk and Baker will be cut.
Actually- glad you asked. I watched a lot of Buffalo’s games last year and- this is before the Pats signed him- he was the player that impressed me the most. This guy is soooo much better than people realize. One of my favorite players to watch last year.Is there something about Hollins you know that you would like to enlighten us with.
Based on last year's production I'd put Williams ahead of him just as a rookie. And everyone but Bourne had more catches and yards. And Bourne was close even with 5 less games.
7 is unnecessary. Need the depth elsewhere.Gameday actives: Diggs, Williams, Douglas, Boutte, Hollins
Gameday inactive: Baker, Polk
7 seems like a lot but I think they can justify it because Hollins has STs value which allows him to take someone else’s roster spot at another position. Right now they only have 3 roster worthy RBs vs the usual 4, they don’t have a clear 3rd TE, and they don’t have a solid FB. They can create the roster spot if they think it’s too soon to give up on Polk or Baker.
It isn’t rocket science- but last year’s stat sheet isn’t going to help you here. There isn’t a quality blocker in the WR room. You can’t have explosive runs or WR screens if there isn’t a WR who can block. Is there something about Hollins you know that you would like to enlighten us with.

You think Hollins is number 2 on the depth chart too?It isn’t rocket science- but last year’s stat sheet isn’t going to help you here. There isn’t a quality blocker in the WR room. You can’t have explosive runs or WR screens if there isn’t a WR who can block.
Vrabel looked at the roster and his WR group, and signed Hollins very quickly; he is guaranteed 3.5M. Vrabel clearly sees Hollins as an unselfish team first guy that he wants to create the team culture. Hollins is making the team unless he gets hurt or has a mental break in training camp.
He'll be cut in camp.I don’t know what you mean by WR2. This isn’t fantasy football. Despite having very modest receiving numbers, Hollins was on the field for just over 2/3 of the Bills offensive snaps. I expect he will be on the field for at least 60% of the snaps. He might be 4th or 5th in production- but he will see a lot of snaps, because many times he will be blocking. Screens will go to his side of the field. He is going to be out there more than Pop on third and fourth and short.
