This team is doing very poorly in zone for some reason.

I think it's the safeties.

Woodson is young but he's making a lot of mistakes. Would not expect him to QB the backfield but it's really a lot for a rookie.

It's mostly to do with Maye. It's unreal how good he his compared to most other QBs in the league, never mind his draft class alone.

Yeah, I mean we're watching C+ level QB play at best from both teams.

Both first round picks by the way, both in the top half of the draft.

I think it’s just that this team is very flawed and has positions manned by questionable personnel.

The fact they are able to overcome that is fantastic. Despite suspect opponents, the league is the league and being 5-2 far exceeds my expectations.

But there is work to be done in order to really start rolling - and part of that work is more quality player acquisitions.

I'm glad Mac is getting a chance to show what he can do, but in the end, I think he'll settle in as a really serviceable backup (and he'll make millions of dollars: good for him). If nothing else, he just doesn't have the arm strength to be anything more. So it goes.
