They make him the scapegoat. Sign a sexual predator to the largest contract in NFL history. Give the Texans a boatload of picks. Proceed to watch Watson play awful for them. And now they have a should be retired QB as their starter while two other teams in the division have a top five QB.

All the while, Mayfield turns into a franchise QB.
