2025 Senior Bowl

Daniel Jeremiah's top 12 standouts from Senior Bowl standouts

I’m featuring a former Toledo Rocket on this list for the second year in a row after (Darius) Alexander followed up Quinyon Mitchell’s standout Senior Bowl performance in 2024 with a strong showing of his own in ‘25. Alexander flashed every day in practice this week. His combination of size and athleticism is really impressive. He has long arms (34 inches) and is a rangy interior defensive lineman. His body type reminds me of Chiefs All-Pro DT Chris Jones.

I include the highlighted because Trevor Sikemma of PFF made the same comparison today. They're not saying he's as good as Jones but that he can be used in the same way.

And I'll just leave this here:

I knew (Kyle) Williams had good speed, but what impressed me in practice was the polish he showed in his release. He created separation throughout the week and caught the ball well. He’s put himself in the mix to be drafted on Day 2 and he should benefit from this receiver class not being quite as strong as others we have seen in recent years. Williams helped himself a lot.

Wish him all the best on another Team at 5'11 no thanks: 6'2 and up for me Inside.

He would be the perfect Jumbo package 6th OLman/FullBack. Don't know if we have enough picks to afford that luxury however...

Nesbit had those two good years with Maye: we know he had a excuse last season *Maye Leaving*: bakes nice scouting he should be a guy on our Day 3 radar.

Or - better still - our UDFA radar.

Has anyone scouted Shemar Stewart from A&M. I was reading he has impressed.
This is probably not going to be a popular comp but I think of Chandler Jones when I watch Stewart. Jones was longer and Stewart is heavier but like Jones, Stewart has the build and athleticism to dominate but hasn’t put it all together yet but there are enough flashes to suggest he will.

Definitely add Darius to my ever growing binky list lol
One of my strategies for this draft is to get a versatile DT that can play the 3-tech, 5-tech and an even front DE. I view Graham, Grant and Tyriek Williams as 1-techs and Darius is fast becoming my DT1 as far as 3-techs go based upon what I said above.

Edit: Forgot Walter Nolen who will be my 3-tech 1 but he doesn't have the flexibility to shift to the edge.

A mid round DT playing wide 9 and beating a Rnd. 1 LT (Conerly) with ease.

Really impressive since this is exactly Conerly's strength. Conerly excels with his athleticism and footwork and ability to close down the outside. He is also supposedly a good technician. Here he loses the hand fight and doesn't react at all to the outside move.

These are supposed to be Conerly's strengths which show up again and again during games. It was the whole reason I like Conerly as my top target for LT in the late 1st and early 2nd.

I was more worried about Conerly getting bullrushed, which is the way to attack him, and it showed as he was bowled over in one scrimmage.

Now I'm "monitoring."

Do you really think his height is a big deal at C?
I heard that he's 3" shorter than any drafted OL in NFL history. Can't believe that's correct but if it is, that's a pretty big red flag.
