2025 Senior Bowl

Doesn't Bell play FB as well as TE?

Nesbit had those two good years with Maye: we know he had a excuse last season *Maye Leaving*: bakes nice scouting he should be a guy on our Day 3 radar.

Doesn't Bell play FB as well as TE?
FB ok TE not very well but he was under a terrible Rookie HC... gotta give him a incomplete. Bell like Polk and Baker need the mother of all Off-season and TC to see if they are NFL players.

No disrespect intended, but BACONGRUNDLECANDY needs to be included.
Shhhhhh! he's already there that's why he's been so quiet. Bacon is a legend around here gone but will never be forgotten.

What's your take on Gunnar Helm TE Texas?? I think he's a sleeper in this Draft. Also is the TE from Michigan Colston Loveland?? How Tall is he one site have him listed at 6'2 I think thought he was 6'5.
I like Helm. (go figure, Texas) He's shown good playmaking ability in the games I have seen. Looking at his scouting reports, he's smart, hard working and coachable. His bio sounds like an ideal guy for JMcD. He's not a huge blocking guy, but he's probably Henry 2.0. I'd be happy if they got him R3 or R4.

I think it would be prudent to get a young TE too. Not sure the best ones in the coming draft. Have you an update on them yet Manxman ?
It's very early but I've had a quick look at some. Ignoring Warren and Loveland which I very much doubt we're drafting, here's some early thoughts.

These are my two favourite.

Mason Taylor - really like him as a TE1. Has enough athleticism to be a threat as a receiver and the size to play inline.
Elijah Arroyo - Flex TE. Really smooth as an athlete, looks like a really good receiver. Not convinced he's an inline guy.

Next is

Gunner Helm - Really good height and an excellent receiver. Like the way he sits in zone and is definitely a seam and redzone threat. He's only 238lb and looks lean. not convinced he'd be effective inline. Like him though.

Terrance Ferguson - More of a TE2. He's solid at everything so a useful roster addition but he doesn't really excel. Doesn't have the athleticism of the three above and won't be as effective as a receiver.

Mitchell Evans - Better blocker than the above but more of an across the middle chain mover than a serious receiving threat. More of an Austin Hooper replacement than Henry.

I'll do some more in-depth work later.

Love Helm - Ferguson and Taylor... very leery of Elijah Arroyo given his injury history. I am gushing over Harold Fannin Jr. the Randy Moss of TE's.

Really like him but I think both he and Arroyo go 2nd round. I'd take either at 69 (provided Arroyo's medicals are ok).
Elijah Arroyo Shouldn't go 2nd round: and I think he'll be available in the Fourth. Watch this movie play out manman.

With the expected run on DE's and DT's Taylor should be there in the Third Round: if we so choose.

Why are we not hearing about that guy??

Re: Taylor, he's only 20 years old. Lots of room to grow, both physically and mentally. Seems like a very solid kid, with a HoF dad. I imagine Vrabel would respect that (and vice versa). Vrabel might be the best HC for a young guy like that who's grown up around the game, since Vrabel played DE/OLB and TE at a very high level.
