heard the interviews and i just want to piggyback a little of this. all three are very impressive young men and jared wilson may be my new favorite. what a smart, thoughtful, engaging (all three are) young man. you can tell he's got a cool demeanor and personality. stoked we drafted him so trey's gonna have to take a back seat to my new favorite.....for now.
Kyle Williams had a similar appearance. Very thoughtful, no Diva.

Amazing for a WR. The typical WR primadonna would be constantly complaining about why he was not drafted in the first round, but not Kyle. Whew, the Patriots appear to have a keeper here.

Nice to see so much positivity this early in the season. Nice to see Coach Vrabel so involved as a leader & teacher.
The more I see the more I like what has happened to this franchise.. hope renewed.

Interesting that Campbell said they started to train him on a 3-point stance, which is new to him. I guess for obvious running plays?
Most plays in the NFL are run with the tackles in a 3-point stance.
That was exactly one of the two main concerns I had for him, he's damn near 6'8", and can't really even get down low in a two-point stance, never mind a 3-point stance.

I'm glad that the coaches a) know that, and don't just throw players out there because they're on the roster, and once they're between the white lines, there's nothing you can do for them, and b) did it pretty much first thing. You can't make his arms longer, but you better make sure he can get that 3-point stance down (and hopefully without tipoffs).

Think of it like a center who's only done shotgun snaps in college.

Larison is all vut guaranteed a roster spot. Terrell Jennings better come in like his slot depends on it because it DOES..

Interesting that one clip mentioned Vrabel talking about Bell and Westover. Both are guys who are likely PS bound... I honestly thought Vrabel would cut Westover over Ricci, but clearly Vrabel learned something that won him over in the time between when Ricci was signed and the end of the draft.
Pretty sure it's just Vrabel giving guys he knows are unlikely to catch on here a shout out cause he likes how they handle their business. While it isn't rare for coaches to try to do right by their players, some are more sensitive to it than others. Vrabel being a former player is probably more sensitive to that aspect of things. It's also a message to his players 'if you want to have a better chance here, follow the example those guys set'.

Film tells me he punches above his weight class. I won’t be surprised if he’s RB2 or RB3 in carries and RB1 in yards and TDs.

His skills in receiving and pass protection are going to make him their #1 back in terms of snaps.

I hope not! He has an injury history; they need to use him judiciously, i.e on passing downs and not for a 4 yards and a cloud of dust grind it out offense--use Stevenson for that; he is a big bull (in training camp he towers over the rest of the RBs).

The Patriots have to be careful with their precious crop of new players since they do not have a lot of depth this year.
