Tyler Warren probably my favorite, would have been ok with him at #4 last year. But a franchise LT more valuable.

Kenyon Sadiq worthy of consideration with our 1st round pick if available.
Colston Loveland is coming on for da Bears.

If Kenyon Sadiq happens to be available for the Patriots in the first round....you'd really have to consider it.
What a luxury to be looking at the draft in week 11, not because you desperately need a QB or other, but as an opportunity to add young pieces to an already high achieving team.

In fairness and retrospect, as good as Gronkowski was, the knock on him coming out was that he was made of glass.

He was made of glass. *shrug* Still worth it. (And I was not a Sergio Kindle guy haha)
Wasn’t it Kindle who fell down the stairs and fractured his skull?

In Y1 at the Titans, Vrabel was 9 - 7. In Y1 at the Patriots, Vrabel is presently 8 - 2. You think it is a bit early to say Vrabel is presently having more success in NE?
You didn’t qualify what you meant by success and now you’re cherry picking.

That was my point. It is mostly Maye. There was a good cast of players at Tennessee with no QB.

@VrabelJr says that Vrabel went to the AFCCG once in 6 years at Tennessee so it is too early to say Vrabel is having more success in NE.
I started a Drake V Vrabel thread but for some reason Ian locked it. He said it was too soon for the debate.

Well, if I were a Jets fan, I would be feeling pretty good right now. It will be a lot easier to deal with the pain of what's ahead this season. In just 3 short months, your team will be the focus of most of NFL Draft news until the end of April with those 3 first round picks AND two 2nds.

Glenn, with these 2 wins in a row, and one being without the CB and the DT, could be building a solid "them against us" culture that will serve them well in the future. Didn't they lose their first 10 games in their first year in Detroit? They will play us hard tomorrow.

The problem will be finding a QB. We have seen just how much of a crap shoot it is to find the right one. It is just such a hard position to play at an elite level, and so much of that skill set is so hard to determine before the draft. You HAVE to be lucky in the end. However, if the Jets DO get lucky and find the right guy, the Jets, Pats rivalry could reach heroic proportions come '27,'28, and the AFCE could be the toughest division in the league

It's not about finding the right guy, for them. They've found plenty of "right guys," and ruined most if not all of them. As @TommyD4207 has pointed out, they've been in this position before (5 1st round picks in 2 years) and nothing happened.

Nothing is going to change until Woody sells the team. He has said many times he's going to be hands off on football operations but he can't help it, he will be right back at the roulette wheel in the draft room overruling people, like he did last year, overruling Joe Douglas. It's He relies on ******** metrics, invites input from his investment group, (!) and has a F rating in ownership from the NFLPA.

Jets have picked a 1st round QB five times since 2000 and all of them have flamed out or were given the boot before they could flourish.
Woody just loves chopping down trees before they have a chance to bear fruit.

How could you possibly completely miss the whole message and conclusion of multiple posts?
I skip most threads on here these days. I’ve seen too many horses beaten long after they’re dead, and I don’t need to waste time on troll posts trying to reignite controversy about BB and TB. So I only follow interesting topics as long as they stay interesting and don’t devolve into toxic muck.

Glad you asked though.

As long as he does not turn out to be Jonnu Smith or Ben Watson.

depth at CB is an issue. AA isn’t enough.

TIL the whole “easy schedule” thing is way overblown.

You know how many games it affects?

Three.

Exactly 3 / 17 of the schedule may be easier because the Pats finished last in division a year ago. And that assumes none of those three opponents improved from last year. Just think, three teams on the Pats’ schedule were deemed to have an easy opponent in the Patriots. How’d that work out for them?
So, it makes no difference to the division race if we face the Giants and BUF faces PHI?

Their 2022 draft is proof of this. They knocked it out of the park with 4 studs and really should’ve been a franchise altering type draft but here we are again. They will screw this up too

When BUF loses to MIA?

And it’s still just one game. Talking about “easy schedule” makes it sound like every game we’ve got a much easier opponent, when 14 of the 17 that’s really not true. It’s misleading bs.
