My wife - originally from Canton, Ohio - just looked at the opening scene and burst out laughing.

35° , 13 mph wind and rain that may turn into snow/slush.

"This is why I moved away, and this is why I would never move back."

I like what the Steelers do bringing fields in on short yardage situations. Didn’t get to see it here because of the false start on 3rd and 1 but they beat Baltimore last week doing this. Been saying we need to start using milton in similar situations, think about how different last weeks game could have been if we didn’t stall inside the 5 and settle for a fg on another failed 3rd and short/polk has a false start.

Now on 4th and 2, probably not lol

pitt might as well just heave it up to pickens every play. He’ll come down with at least half of them

I'm kinda curious to see if Pittsburgh is actually any good. I suspect fraud, but better to investigate first. Anyone see them yet this year?

Edit: conclusion = Fraud (but a very fun snow game)

Cleveland can thank the refs for the no intentional grounding ruling

I wasn't a believer in Pittsburgh even before this game. I don't think you can win a SB with the QB's they have. It's not enough in a loaded AFC.

I think the QB got hit as he threw the ball, so it was not intentional. Entertaining gave in any case. And good for the Pats draft position.

True, but I thought Russell Wilson looked way better than he has the last few years!

I hope we end up two or three when it's all said and done. I think the sweet spot in this Draft is Top 5 or 6.

It also helps that an offensive lineman who had reported as eligible was in the (broad) vicinity. I think a lot of people saw the large bodies and OL numbers and assumed there was nobody eligible anywhere close to where it was aimed or where it ended up, but one of them was in fact eligible.

The sweet spot is #1 trading down to #5 or #6.
The BY FAR most meaningful effect from landing the #1 overall pick isn't the player we'd get nor the haul from trading the pick.

It's that Kraft may reconsider wasting years of Maye's rookie contract with Mayo.

And yet I hate thinking of Maye losing all his starts as being "for the best." What a monumentally messed up situation has Kraft put us in...

It is very easy to fix.

Yep.

As long as Maye is walking off the field at the end of each game on his own two feet, it wouldn't bother me - in the slightest - if we lose the rest of our remaining games this season. Maybe then ownership will realize the Colossal mistake it made in hiring the current Collaboration and will take immediate steps to rectify the situation, beginning on Black Monday with the dismissals of the two children upstairs, the two WR "coaches" and the defensive Coordinator... plus the useless gweep Rothstein.

True.

BTW...I think RW is an example of a guy who played himself out of the HOF.
Also a victim of bad timing when so many other great QB's were still playing.
