We have to put some blame here on Kraft. Guaranteeing the job to someone who has never been a major coordinator, then not giving him a support system, with experienced play callers is just bad leadership. If you are going to take a chance on someone, surround him with talent and let him grow into the role.

Mayo and Steven Belichick were CO-DCs for at least 2 years.

How do you get that he wasn't given a support system?
