The people calling for Jacobs to sell the Bruins 20-30 years ago had a better shot of convincing JJ than the current crew's trying to convince Kraft to sell the team, and JJ is only a single digit billionaire as opposed to RKK.Krafty Bob is a ****ing Billionare. He's gonna ****ing "meddle" if he wants to. You people complaining need to come to terms with that. His son will most likely do the same. He ain't selling the team either so just stop calling for that too.
there is a difference between sucking at your job even when putting in effort, and slacking offConsider watching the games.
Mayo could not devise a gameplan to confuse Mac Jones. He is a more experienced coach. Based on his last year with the Jets and Bills respectfully I wouldn't say he is better.
Rex Ryan was a good coordinator who deserved a HC job. He was not a good HC.For context, we are talking about who is ****tier amongst two ****ty coaches.
The 2009-2010 Jets defenses had a lot more talent and heart to work with than this Patriots bunch.Mayo could not devise a gameplan to confuse Mac Jones.
Rex rolled into Foxboro and took down Brady in the post season. Rex is way better and give him a QB like Maye
1993: Bill Parcells was 5-11 with 3 losses by more than 1 score, but ended the season on a 4-0 streak.Teams with new coaches are supposed to get better as the year winds on, not get blown out week after week.
Nailed it1993: Bill Parcells was 5-11 with 3 losses by more than 1 score, but ended the season on a 4-0 streak.
2000: Bill Belichick was 5-11 but only 2 losses by more than one score, and finished season 3-3 after a 2-8 start.
Note the 2023 the 4-13 team had 5 losses by more than one score, and was one reason used for how the team tuned out Belichick.
The currently 3-13 team has 7 losses by more than one score, without a win after Veterans Day, and 3 of those multi score losses after Veterans Day.
Point is, in the other cases you could see the arrow trending upwards even if there wasn’t a reason to believe the team would be a true Super Bowl contender the next year. This year, I’m seeing floundering at the beginning and at the end, no real improvement.
And to think the leader of that pool of talent was none other than “Mr ButtFumle” himself. Also lead to the Mrs getting a tatoo or two as I recall….Ryan inherited pretty good talent up and down the roster in NY. Once the talent started to age, so did his act.
Another thing to add, teams don't usually move up to the 1st pick overall after getting the third pick overall. Teams usually get a lower pick because they improve.1993: Bill Parcells was 5-11 with 3 losses by more than 1 score, but ended the season on a 4-0 streak.

Nowadays you expect the Patriots to lose. Gone are the days you feel confident about anything involving this team.History doesn't mean ****.
In the last 3 years our record is 15- 35...2nd worst in NFL over that span

Do you really think Patriot Place is a goldmine? For people who like praise (and don’t we all), where are all the media reports about the fabulous success story that is Patriot place. A mall in the middle of nowhere built around the start of the Great Recession in an era where malls have been dying left and right across the country.Agree. He'll never sell the team while he is alive for three reasons.
1) He is a jock-sniffing, star*****er. As an owner of an NFL team, it gives him cache and the access to celebrities and sports figures.
2) Patriot Place. That whole area is a goldmine. I'm assuming it'll need to be part of the deal.
3) Posterity.
****@Ross12
Guys I am not Johnny Kraft.
I was just volunteering to fire Mayo if they didn't have the guts.
The days of a competent coaching staff?Eagles offensive line helped an older RB break the freaking rushing title this season. Also BOTH backup QBs looked amazing today. Pats need to draft and develop along both lines. Eagles are even developing linemen who haven't played football before. Remember those days?
Thats true if they have a coach. Any coach.Rex would mean the Jets have a better coach than NE.
Laughing emoji is about whether there was ever a questionRex Ryan is better than Jerod Mayo by a mile
I was there, a few years ago. It seemed mostly a venue dependent collection of restaurants and bars, a couple of hotels as anchors, and some healthcare providers. Probably has a good solid foundation from the healthcare facilities, which also support game day emergency services. Other that that the bars and restaurants and hotels depend on events at Gillette, or the lack of anything else nearby. Seemed to me that they had a good set of captive healthcare provider tenants as foundation. Doubt they’re in trouble, doubt they’re a goldmine. But if they cover their nut they’re a good growth play.Do you really think Patriot Place is a goldmine? Have you ever been there? I admit it’s been 5 years this Saturday since I was last there, but I was never impressed, and I’m a Maine boy. I can’t imagine it breaks even much less be a goldmine.
He won’t sell the team because it’s a huge part of his life and who has $9 billion to pay for it? Bezos, Musk, Buffett that’s about it, and they’re busy with more important things. The Celtics were supposed to have been sold by now. Why haven’t they? Perhaps, no one wants to pay what Forbes values the NBA champs at. No one has $8-9 billion to buy the Patriots and run them like the hobby you dopes think that an owner should.
I get the Kraft hate. He fired your unrisen savior years after he should have by the way given the standard your savior himself set. It’s too bad the “Dynasty “ cast Bill as the villain . Those facts don’t lie.
Bob should give Ian a few bucks to promote his “Stop Hate “ campaign on here.
