Too bad fir Maye, I don’t see this being a issue of him having propensity to get hurt running. He was hurt sliding. It was a pretty nasty hit from behind and his head kind of snapped forward, I would think his neck is going to be pretty sore. The fact he played two more plays and made a perfect strike to.Boutte leaves me to believe his symptoms are not going to require a long recovery
If he can’t play next week, it’s the one week this year I can’t actually watch the game so that would be convenient for me.
Also a loss next week be very helpful to draft status
This game also reinforces my thought that you need to get a top wide receiver over a top tackle.
Maye and a true #1 would be awesome to watch.
